We would have endless possession. Everton's CBs wil make a couple of mistakes. We win this 2-0

Shaw deserves to start based on his performance against Chelsea. If Carrick is back i want us to line up like we have lately.

Hope Falcao is nowhere near the starting line up. "Hes a nice guy yadayada" does not cut it any more. Hes been given plenty of chances to prove himself and has not produced the goods.

I think Falcao was ok against Chelsky, so if Blind is not fit I reckon Radamel will start.

If Blind isn't fit it'll be the same team as against Chelsea with Falcao up front. Van Gaal said it was our best performance of the season so he'll stick with the same team if we don't have anyone back from injury.

    Hopefully Blind is fit though.

I reckon the same team as v. Chelsea will start again, save Blind for Falcao and probably Evans for Mc.Nair.

Should win, though Everton is a tough team to beat, especially away

Nobody else expecting Evans to play instead of McNair? Have I missed something?

Probably just that McNair played a blinder at Chelsea. I would also expect van Gaal to opt for experience in Evans today.

Cool, thought that might be it. I think McNair was great, but was helped by the fact that Chelsea played on the back foot. Against Everton I think we need more experience at the back, since they'll attack much more than Chelsea did.

I'd expect Everton to attack us more than Chelsea did and that the match is more open. Think that will benefit us.

I wouldn't be surprised if Van Persie starts ahead of Falcao today, provided Blind isn't back in the midfield.

I'm not sure how we're supposed to benefit from Evans' experience as he's shit and needs the leave the club. I suppose Van Gaal doesn't share this opinion, but for me Evans is a disaster waiting to happen and he's proven it many times already.

I agree that Everton will probably cause us more problems than Chelsea because they don't have the personnel to park the bus, but I'd still start MacNair instead of Evans. I'm sure he'd rise to the challenge.

Think this game will pan out like the last few. We'll boss possession and create chances, but we'll have to be wary of Everton's counter threat. With Barkley, Mirallas and Lennon - who I expect will start, they have three players that, given room, are very good at running with the ball.

I do think we'll win this game, though. Although Everton are on a decent run, I just think we'll have too much for them. In addition to that, they leak a lot of goals and make quite of lot of errors, so I expect us to capitalize.

Don't know who to pick today. My run of three consecutive 14/14 will end today. :(

To be fair, he was beginning to show some form when he got suspended.

How come the line up predictions close so early?
To save it being ruined by early leaks I think. 2 hours is very fair. It's supposed to be a prediction game after all, holding out until you get a hint from Twitter isn't really in the spirit.

Leaks become more and more likely as it gets closer to kick-off. I think 2 hours is pretty fair really.
Thanks. Yep, I see the point, 2 hours before kick off is probably to best time to close the predictions.

    I've gone for:

    ------------De Gea
    Valencia--Smalling--Evans--Shaw
    -------------Blind
    ------Herrera---Fellaini
    ----Mata---Rooney--Young

Though it wouldn't surprise me to see McNair, Falcao or Di Maria start. Tough to predict this one.

Same as me then. It's actually a fairly decent team, I'm reasonably confident we'll win this one.

It's not like he was good when he was fit either. McNair deserves another game.

Maybe ADM should get a start again, as we strugled to score against Chelsea. He always gets an assist. Chelsea parked the bus, I know, but still.
It's really weird we can't seem to fit in one of the best players in the world..

Excited for this, we should really be winning it but I reckon a draw will be the result.

LVG tends not to put players in that lack match sharpness. I think that Evans might have to play a couple of U21 matches before moving back into the first team.

I do expect him to be on the bench though.

Not to his usual high standards but that is more to do with having selfish players play infront of him. Baines has rejected Bayern and United. He loves Everton and is happy playing for the club. He is a rarity in this day and age and I would love it if he win just one trophy with us.
Had no idea he was wanted by Bayern too. I thought he would have left Everton by now considering he is nearly 30 and hasn't won anything. He could have easily played for any of the top teams in England.
