Young has been the best player in the first half. Getting nothing from the right side of the field. RvP has looked very lively, hopefully he gets some chances in the second half.
One or two more but nothing special.I genuinely believe that Herrera has played more forward passes than Rooney, Mata and Fellaini put together.
The fact he's given the ball away when having to force it is indicative of that.
Yep. All his passes (except for one) have been backwards or sideways.Wow, not a single cross from Mata.
I think you have Young and Mata the wrong way round. Young, bless him, is the epitome of form is temporary, class is permanent.Young has been very good and the only one who has looked like creating a goal. Herrera yet again showing he is a quality player but he needs to play further up the pitch if we wants to get the best out of him.
For the second half I'd put Di Maria on for Mata who has been poor for the second game in a row now.
Not bad, but we need to grab that one chance that comes along. May not be too many given the way they've jammed the bus between the goalposts.Hasn't been too bad, we just need to take our chances. We'll be fine.

Yeah, with 11 men within 30 yards from their goal. This isn't football, they don't even try to string three passes together.Eh? They're currently drawing at OT. Doing plenty.
But they are literally parking the bus. Worse than you lot. They don't even want to counterYou do realise a lot you guys sound so much like Arsenal these days?
As in you destroy a few teams then any team that doesnt want to be beaten and you arent beating is parking the bus.
Time for the players to step it up, 3 games in a row is not just the opposition parking the bus, its United lacking any creativity, pace or ability for long periods.
The running bulldozerJust out of curiousity what tactic can actually beat a parked bus?
I think we need those guys.We need Di Maria on to pick up some of RVPs runs.
Totally agree about the counter, the goal was there for him to score. He's too hesitant to have a pop. RvP messed up that counter but Rooney had the space to shoot himself in the first place. Why are we restricting him when we're playing a team content with defending all day? Take the shackles off, push him higher up. We shouldn't need his defensive work in this game really.
White text?Get Falcao on for the second half. RVP looks rusty.

WBA had the ball about 5 times, wasting a full minute before taking a free kick/ goal kick. Shame really. We might lose points to this, but their fans have to watch this week in week out.Tweet

Rooney has refused to shoot from outside the box for ages. He just doesn't do it as much.Totally agree about the counter, the goal was there for him to score.
But isnt that the absolute spot on thing to do then? But they are literally parking the bus. Worse than you lot. They don't even want to counter
It's no excuse, it's just fact that they are not actually here to play football. It's a safe tactic to grab a point against a United side who just can't play through teams who keep their shape.
I think Fellani's physically is needed here on set pieces. Mata generally struggles in games like these.Replace Fellaini with Di Maria i say
Agreed but no way it happens. Cant see him using Jones like that. More likely we see Young go to LB, di Maria at LW and Blind to DM. Which would be OK - I'd take off Rooney or Fellaini. We need Herrera receiving the ball and driving forward, not asking Rooney or Fellaini to do that. As it is, they're standing still waiting for the ball rather than running over to be an outlet. The I would be tempted to bring Jones on to do Carricks job and let Herrera do his thing and take Rooney off.
Why's that a negative? It's a pointless tactic against a team full of Nephilim.Wow, not a single cross from Mata.
Won't we all do the same if we had to come up with a plan to face United at OT? That says more about us than them. We're in big trouble if all teams coming to OT have to do is keep their shape in order to get a point. But they are literally parking the bus. Worse than you lot. They don't even want to counter
