Cezary Kucharski has killed a few muppets here. If he has his way, Lewandowski wouldn't be heading here. Which is a shame, in the summer of 2012, he seemed very keen on making the move before we signed RVP.

Robert Lewandowski could leave Bayern Munich but is unlikely to join Manchester United, according to the player's agent

The Poland international produced a devastating display for his club side on Tuesday, coming on at half-time against Wolfsburg to score five goals in nine minutes and seal a 5-1 victory.

Lewandowski has been regularly linked with a move to Old Trafford and Louis van Gaal, the United manager, is said to be a long-standing admirer of the player.





However, Cezary Kucharski, the player's agent, has taken , citing the inclement weather as one reason why his client would be reluctant to move to England.

"Games like the one against Wolfsburg immensely help a player increase his value," he told TVN24.

"I have a plan for the rest of Robert's career in my head. Could that plan take him to Manchester? It's always raining over there. Munich is much more beautiful and a better place to live."

Kucharski, who is clearly keen to capitalise on the extra attention Lewandowski has had since his goal haul on Tuesday, went on to imply that his client may consider a move to the warmer climes of La Liga.

“Barcelona or Madrid? They are nice places, and in Spain there is the best atmosphere for playing football."

The 27-year-old striker, who would have signed for Blackburn Rovers in 2010 were not for the Eyjafjallajokull volcano eruption, has a contract in place with Bayern until June 2019.

that said Madrid and Barca are craking places to live - Madrid especially (for me anyway) - cant blame any footballer who would want to go there - great climate, arguably (and imo) the best league in the world, very good wages and probably the best two teams in the world (certainly anywhere but those two would be a step down from Bayern at the moment).

So the story is basically - Agent does his job
 
Literally doens't matter, Kucharski is a fecking cnut who'll lap up to the biggest offer.

Oh, and it's not like Kucharski is namedropping any teams here, it's the journo that's asking him questions about Manchester, Barcelona and Madrid.

I wonder if players accept that their agents get a bit of silly publicity but still make their own decisions. Basically accept it as a necessary evil, but in the end most of the times they just tell their agents what they want and trust them to make it happen. Lewandowski doesn't seem to be an easily manipulable person, at least not to me. And his agent has talked utter nonense before, so it's not like it means anything at all.

I find it strange that the agent even mentions a transfer. Lewa just signed a season ago and is happy in the bundesliga imo. And besides Neither Madrid nor Barca really have a place for him at the moment unless some big changes happen.

The agent is right about the weather though the summer in Munich beats the summer in Manchester hands down

I guess agents do have plans for their star players. that's how they make their fortune. He would have made a fortune on the transfer from Dortmund to Munich, and will probably want another one! Its not inconceivable that he'll be telling Robert about the need to make it big in at least 2 leagues - inlcuding, La Liga (playing for Madrid or Barca). In a few years, it could also become Chelsea (London) if it suits the agent.

Don't worry. Edd will make sure wherever this agent is it will be raining money if we wanted Lewandowski.

I don't see him going to Barcelona any time soon with their trio. Perhaps Madrid, but Perez seems to love Benzema.

Whats he talking about when he mentions atmosphere there? No league can out do the noise level of the prem.

I honestly believe, the PL is the toughest league to win. Its different to all the other leagues, has no real domination and is incredibly unpredictable. As a challenge, it is the hardest but not every good player wants challenges.

Robert's not sensitive to weather though, it's not like it's always +30 and sunny in Poland so he doesn't really give a shit. It's no Cote d'Azur in Germany either.

As I've said in another thread only a day ago, his agent will be whoring him out of Munich in no time. 'I have a plan for the rest of his career in my head', he's such a fecking idiot.

He's been like that forever. When he started scoring for Dortmund, he was constantly on TV talking about how shit and small Dortmund are and how Lewandowski deserves to be at a much bigger club than that shit hole. Then at the time when his contract was about to expire and he could finally get away from the awful small provincial club, he was on TV talking about offers from huge European clubs and even once promised that he'd announce Lewandowski's new club on national TV, in live coverage - didn't happen eventually because no one bited and they just ignored him. He'll be disrespecting Bayern and Bundesliga in no time.

Yeah that may be true, but it isn't in the form of constant drizzle. We get big feck off storms here that dump loads of water in very short space of time which sqew the stats.

Munich is an infinitely nicer city than Manchester. In fact I have heard that Schweini is already missing being able to walk down the Kaufinger strasse early on a Sunday morning.

Yeah because Liverpool and Chelsea were actually strong back then and proved it in Europe as well. Put them in the current league in which teams are so good that they cannot buy a win in Europe and they'd dominate.

Besides we won all titles bar one between 2006 and 2011 and the only time we lost out was extremely unlucky.

Tbf, didn't he (or Lewandowski) turn down a huge last minute deal from Real prior to Lewandowski's move to Bayern?

Dont you think though as the agent is employed by the player that said plan is actually what the player wants... the plan is just how to help him achieve it and maximise the money when doing so... just like any business consultant or infact any adviser job be that a lawyer or financial adviser for example you act on client instructions and seek to strike the best deal for them (which due to your remuneration package will often be the best for yourself as well)

there will be no shortage of agents willing (even desperate) to represent a player like Lewondowski and he picks who he wants to work with - tells them what he wants them to achieve and then they go about doing it (he may just want a pay rise to stay at Bayern, he may actually fancy a move to spain, he may even fancy a move to united and his agent is saying things to ensure united put a massive offer on the table to overcome the weather concerns... either way his agent will be acting in accordance with instructions or he will be sacked)

I don't know how anyone can even try and defend Manchester's weather, it's fecking awful. Can't even imagine how bad it must be for players who come from warm and sunny climates.

Still, Poland is hardly a sun-kissed paradise, either, so the agent can shut up.

calm down dear, I couldnt really give a shit about lewandowski and is agent... point being is does rain in Manchester non-stop.

he left Polski a very long time ago..I can imagine his heated mansion is very warm for him, coupled with a warm cosey car ride to work, stretching his legs into a nice air-conditioned training session, with a slow jog in his tracksuit and snood back to his warm car to said mansion with heated tiles.
