If we were playing a team of Russians then definitely Kanchekis so he could eavesdrop and understand their tactis and give the rest of his team mates the inside track...

Lets face it,you haven't won anything since Beckham left. You should have kept him,not forced him out.

Kanchelskis at his peak would have started ahead of Beckham, just a shame he came with so much baggage which cut his stay short. At least Beckham was a loyal and consistent player over several years before he built up enough baggage to force him out.

Kanchelskis at his United peak every time. Kanchelskis was as underrated as Beckham was overrated.

I'd have Kanchelskis back just for pure entertainment value. Kanchelskis on one wing with Giggs on the other was really something to watch. We really lack that explosive pace to hit teams on the break these days. Can remember the thrill of Schmeichel getting the ball and seeing them two charging up the pitch at full tilt. The number of goals we scored this way was simply stunning.

Whats annoying is that with Ronaldo and Park we should have similar pace, if they would actually stick to the wings and play this way.

Kanchelskis. Under-rated and under-used.

Remember his city hat trick? And he and Eric had a definite spark between them. (Not romantically........)

I obviously prefer Kanchelskis myself, while Beckham's crossing was better, he doesn't scare full backs like Kanchelskis and can be dealt with a lot easier. And Kanchelskis was more of a goal threat.

But Beckham's done it everywhere. Whereas Kanchelskis was always piss poor in Europe. Beckham's the better player, however I'd much rather watch Kanchelskis. Although I have to agree, he did get a raw deal at United.

Do you mean piss poor in Europe playing for other sides Spoony? I don't remember him getting too many chances with United because of the foreigners ruling.

kanchelskis, sad we never saw the best of him but he was like having a cf as a winger, maybe abit greedy but he was great on the counter attack, and like becks a great shot. I think we nearly did another treble (albiet not the proper treble), this time with the league cup but we lost to villa and he gave away a pen when it hit his arm? Anyone remember that? Great days

For United. His game suited the Prem. He didn't get many chances in Europe, but I do recall him being poor each time he played.

Just look at the way he failed in the Serie A.

Yes, and it makes this frantic noise.

Once I hear it, I jump into my batsuit, get in the bat mobile and head off to the nearest available PC.

Please dont tell anyone...

I like the good old days of Giggsy and Kanchelski running down the wing
They said giggys was faster running with the ball while Kanchelski was faster running off the ball.
It was the time when we were terrorising the opponents defense week after week in both wings
Our bloody fecking awesome counter attack play
I remember Kanchelshi was also scoring for fun.
Pity he didn't achieve much
