Must have missed SAF's years of eye gouging other managers and bullying our own doctors....

SAF wasn't perfect but Mourinho is much, much worse. Something Sir Bobby rightly pointed out.
Who cares? You're not going to marry him! He's a winner! That's all that counts in a manager.

What?

Didn't Fergie fall out with the club doctor due to Rooneys injury in 2006?

But we'd forget that. How about the Bayern medical staff leaving last year? Did you forget that too?
I certainly don't remember SAF bullying our doctors to the extent that a constructive dismissal case was filed against us, no.

I hadn't forgotten Pep, nor did I say he was a bastion of virtue. That was one incident though, whereas Mourinho's career is littered with them.

You mean exactly what Guardiola did at Bayern?
Different really. Guardiola was angry because all of his players kept getting injured and it was all done in the heat of the moment.

Mourinho was the opposite. He was angry she was making sure the player wasn't injured (Essentially her job) and then on two separate occasions after the situation and he had time to calm down insulted her on television. It also then was followed by the worst period in his career unlike Peps.

Luis Suarez would help us win plenty too, would you like us to sign him? The principle is the same. If someone's behavior is poor enough to damage the club then the club should certainly think twice before hiring them, no matter how good they are at their job.

Indeed, that wasn't good either. As with SAF though, Pep really isn't on Mou's level in terms of toxic behavior.
I honestly don't give a shit about toxic behaviour if he gets United back to the top.

What?! YES we'd be nuts not to sign Suarez if available.

Are you like anti-capitalist and work with people that always meditate during their lunch break?!
You seem to live in a parallel universe!

Yeah it would be great to get Suarez. Or any world class player.

Even after the biting, the cheating, playing for our biggest rivals and (most importantly) racially abusing a United legend, you would still be happy to see Suarez wear a United shirt? You're way, way weirder than I am.

Do you want our club to win? Or are you the type of person that loves to compete and 'it's the taking part that matters'?

I can't believe that some people on this forum would rather have Giggs as the next manager over Mourinho.
Yes he's an absolute cock, but he almost guarantees success. As much as I loved Giggs as a player, he wouldn't get anywhere near the job. In fact I'd get rid altogether, he needs to cut his teeth elsewhere.

Of course not! Have I wandered into a parallel world where we've forgotten how odious Suarez is? Not only did he racially abuse someone, the guy he abused was a United captain and legend!

Is the reason to support United winning trophies? Is that really the way it is for you?

You're not seriously comparing what Giggs did to racially abusing someone and biting 3 other people? You just forgot the white text, right?
err no, Suarez still protests his innocence tbf and says it was lost in translation/culture.
Giggs put out some super-injunction thing and basically smirks at it.

Once again, you've decided which crime is greater have you?

Obviously I want us to win. I do think some principles are more important than winning at all costs though. Presumably Sir Bobby felt the same way when he made his comments about Mourinho?

Giggs would be an awful appointment, I'd take Mou over him every time. That doesn't even have anything to do with Giggs' behavior, I'd be against him for football reasons alone.

I wouldn't want him at United because one of his scummy acts was against us. But Barca had no problem with taking him on. Do Barca lack class? Have they been damaged by taking him on?

I don't think Jose antics have damaged any club he has been at because football is a pretty classless sport to be honest.

Thanks for putting you other comments into perspective.
Not really. I'm just making a point as an example.
Some of this 'hollier than thou' chat is hilarious and exactly what will turn us into a Liverpool if we're not careful.

I suppose I'm more of a pragmatist in life. :)

Giggs is a matter between his family while Suarez was racist to one of our players, its different

I think this sums it up perfectly to be honest. Far more articulate than I.

suarez is a cnut but he seems to have matured at barca.

though you don't have to worry because there's 0 chance of him coming here though, anyways.

Judging by some comments in this thread, we seem to have some of the most self-righteous fans in the world. Although tearing apart your own family seems to rank as a lesser offence than behaving like a dick occasionally on the touch lines or on the pitch.

Like you said, it wasn't a Barca player he racially abused. The notion of any United fan accepting Suarez here makes my head hurt.

If Suarez bites or racially abuses someone while playing for Barca though then it does damage their reputation. How can it not? Even more so if they defend him in the way Liverpool did.

As for Mourinho's behaviour not damaging the clubs he worked for, Chelsea are being sued by one of their employees because of Mourinho's actions aren't they? Plus his toxic approach is a large part of why he burned through Real and Chelsea. It's had a direct impact on the fortunes of the teams he's worked for.

No, to both questions, but he was on his absolute final warning and Barca offered him a move away from the Premiership and Barca play the style of football he revels playing in. If he had moved to another Premier League club or to an Italian club he would still be getting stick now and I doubt he would have settled well and probably reoffended. Barca was the perfect outlet for him.

I doubt too many United fans would want him here not only because of his behaviour and the fallout with Evra, but also because he played for Liverpool.

Our board too

They will all probably change their tune when it becomes 5,6,7 years without a trophy

Suarez defiantly no. But Mourinhio is no where near as bad as Suarez. Defiantly would like him here.
I don't want any of them here, but at least Mourinho has no bad blood with United from before as he seem to like this club so in that way there's no problem.

Suarez on the other hand, people wanting him here are, sorry to say, idiots. I can't understand how any United fan would want that fecking man here after the history with United.

Because Real and Chelsea are the most stable clubs in the world. If you haven't noticed, they tend to discard their managers rather quickly.
