If anyone comes to the thread late and asks why the game was delayed, let's say because Kane proposed to his girlfriend on the pitch.
We were 8 miles away. Yes we would have aimed to arrive 90 mins at most before kick off. Whatever accident it was must have been horrendous. Nothing we could have done and that Matt Law wanting us to have points docked is ridiculous. Not like we did this deliberately by causing a traffic accident then holding shit up. If anything this benefits Spurs more than us.I would have thought we would aim to arrive 2 hours before the kickoff. Even an hours delay would not be a big problem.
The team have only just arrived at 5 to 4. Time to change and warm up, a 4.30 start is cutting it a bit fine.
We have pace too, Martial and Rashford will relish the space they'll get today. That Spurs lineup has plenty of pace, engine and teamwork. If we dont wake up from the beginning, this can get ugly.
It's worrying that we may be "sleepy" in the first 20 minutes, due to our late/rushed arrival. That Spurs lineup has plenty of pace, engine and teamwork. If we dont wake up from the beginning, this can get ugly.
Our lot will run out to the Match of the Day theme played on a kazoo, while stretchering Rooney to the box so he can head in a cross with his heroic English bandaged bonce. I take my hair off to him.
There was an accident, sorry but they didn't know that was going to happen. Idiot.Tweet

Yes, do it!If anyone comes to the thread late and asks why the game was delayed, let's say because Kane proposed to his girlfriend on the pitch.
.....or how Ander will look when he is older.Pochettino looks like Ander.
I said this to my friend, he thinks LVG would have had them taken turns doing shuttle runs up the centre aisle of the bus. He's serious tooDo we even have time for a warm up?
They do. Pocettino never goes home, he works that hard. How were all the Spurs players and staff able to get to the ground on time anyway? It's not like they live there themselves.
Apparently they threw a small black car out of the way.How were all the Spurs players and staff able to get to the ground on time anyway? It's not like they live there themselves.
De Gea and Smalling to take each other out with a clash of heads, and Martial to pull his hamstring running over to check on them.prepare for injuries galore today.
What did he say?Van Gaal .Getting his excuses in early?.
Less time warming up, it is inevitable.De Gea and Smalling to take each other out with a clash of heads, and Martial to pull his hamstring running over to check on them.
The way this season has gone, the above doesn't even sound unreasonable.
Bojan scores vs Dippers
1-1
Less chance of someone getting injured in the warm up, if it is truncated.Do we even have time for a warm up?
I always laughed at "I thought the players showed tremendous character..." - I think it was the repetition of that line which really made it a classic Brent line. What's your favourite Brent dialogue from the office, anyone?
