I don't think that Buzansky ever featured, but I won't say for sure - you can search their names and see for youself. Others are more or less regulars, Hulshoff maybe not a regular but I definitely remember him being picked.

I'm fairly pleased with the way it turned out. I actually landed most of my initial targets. By which I mean realistic targets, of course.

Regrets: Nothing big. I wanted Joya, as per the original scheme, but I couldn't have landed him without gambling on losing Deyna (who is more important to my overall plan). I also wanted Szymaniak, originally, but had a backup plan there which might actually be preferable all things said and done. Might have gone for Abidal over Pavoni (as suggested above), but that was mainly tactical - the former being a much more familiar name.

Very pleased to have landed Zoff without losing out on a suitable final piece: Keepers are what they are in these drafts, but he should make at least some difference as that little bit of extra top, top quality in the back five as a unit.

Surprisingly few players haven't been picked at some time or other. I thought Croy had never been picked (it was one of the reasons I wanted to go for him) but I've just seen that @Marty1968 had him before.

Indeed a big surprise give the long list of blocked players.

That is why, one day, you can make a similar draft with the current blocked list + the new players here to be blocked !

Yes, that could be easily done, I think. There are some fantastic players who haven't been picked - and won't be picked.

And a huge cast of good (or even very good) players who simply are a level below what most would consider draft worthy in this context.

I'd be up for a Reserve Reserve draft for sure. There's some fantastic players still available. I'd go so far as to say there's a few that wouldn't have looked out of place in the original All-Time draft.

Indeed - I think it has worked brilliantly in that regard: There's a load of players on roughly the same level (as per what most would agree on - reputation, credentials, how easily sold they are, and so forth) here, which makes it less obvious who will go in round 3 - and who in round 10.
