Let's hope this is not true!
I am not going to judge him before it is proved, there have been so many cases where girls accuse footballers of rape, to get money off them.
I don't mean to defend anyone, by all means, but i want to be 100% sure first.

If, in worst case scenario, it is true, let's hope his gf leaves him, so we don't have her pressuring him to move back to Madrid!

Hasn't really exploded into the news yet, only that one outlet reported it.

No, but it suggests they were friends or at least knew each other.
I think that is already established tbh.
The point is did he know that the girl would be/ or was raped

I believe we should all exercise restraint before making sweeping judgement regarding the guilt or innocence of the mentioned players.

Let the story develop and if the case has any evidence implicating
players including our very own De Gea then law would take it's own course
and I hope our management would take the right call if needed.

Unless he asked for an underage girl, does he take the blame for that? I mean if he had sex with her, then I guess he would.. but if he arranged for someone who turned out to be underage.. not really his fault.. is it?
Oddly seems he has been accused of organising events, not necessarily taking part in the sex. Which of course again could be very untrue

First to report that he's been sent home was a fake account. Don't know if that's what the Sun are basing reports on.

In the worst cases scenario where all these allegations are true it likely won't matter to us what his gf does as we'd have to fire him anyway.

Pathetic comment seriously at least wait for more evidence before posting comments like this.
Isn't the woman also a protected witness involved in the case against Torbe? It's not like she has gone to the Spanish Sun or something.

:(. I just hope this isn't true. Shameful for football if it is.

English Marca article if anyone hasn't caught up: http://www.marca.com/en/football/national-teams/2016/06/10/575ac480ca4741b4688b4581.html

Footballers David de Gea and Iker Muniain have both been implicated in the ongoing case against pornography entrepreneur Ignacio Allende Fernandez, better known as Torbe.

A witness in the case - in which Torbe is accused of human trafficking for purposes of sexual exploitation, sexual assault, child pornography, prostitution, extortion and money laundering - has testified that she was abused by the two players.

Muniain is alleged to have had sex with the woman in 2012, while De Gea is alleged to have arranged the meeting.

According to eldiario.es, the arm of the national police force tasked with such matters has attributed a "high degree of credibility" to the women's testimony, and to those of two other women.

They have also ruled out the possibility of "motives existing to discredit those denounced for economic or personal reasons".

The victim's statement, made in front of agents, details a number of instances of harassment by the Torbe network, including an incident involving the Manchester United and Athletic Club players in a five-star Madrid hotel in 2012.

Torbe was alleged to have promised her a lot of money to go the hotel suite, where one other woman and two footballers would be.

"Both the other girl, as well as TP3 [the codename given to the protected witness] were sexually assaulted by the men, as they were physically assaulted by both if they refused," the police report said.

"After finishing with the sexual desires of these footballers, they made threats so that what happened in that hotel room would never come to light."

It was also revealed that the two women were never paid the amount promised to them, with all the money going to Torbe.

"Neither TP3 nor the other woman that was in the room earned anything for the physical and sexual aggression they received."

In a subsequent hearing, the witness finally named the footballers as Iker Muniain and another U21 national team player, and that David de Gea had arranged the evening through Torbe.

That really wouldn't matter. He'd be shown the door by the club.

@KM, what is the source for those tweets in the OP ? Is it a reliable source ?

Edit: Never mind. I found the Marca article. I'm assuming they reported this first.

So no mention of Isco by Marca? Coincidence.

Unless he wasn't involved? (as I haven't actually bothered reading anything, i'm just here for the drama).

Never ceases to amaze me that men who are paid millions to kick a ball about are prepared to risk it all for shit like this. Maybe it's because they're paid so much, they feel invincible.
It's not that they feel invincible it's more that they are young and have millions to throw around.

I think we should all show our support for DDG up until it's confirmed that he has been framed by Sergio Romero.

Obviously very serious allegations but I'm rather skeptical of the whole thing at present. Footballers are pretty easy targets of this kind of accusation and without any concrete evidence it appears too. Will have to see how this develops but I hope this isn't true, for De Gea and the other players implicated.

All the millions and still not enough confidence and eloquence to go and get girls the proper way. If he's guilty, get him out of the club as soon as possible. We are not Liverpool.
