There no limit for players in the bench, is there? Maybe Carrick and Fosu-Mensah are unavailable. Fosu-Mensah wasn't in the training lineups that got leaked. Perhaps he picked up an injury after the Wigan friendly.
Surprising Mourinho included Rashford, after saying English internationals (surely he was mainly thinking of Rooney) wouldn't feature. Seems we have to take what he says with a grain of salt…

Nothing to do with FM but some people can actually spot his weaknesses in real life. His defensive positioning is pretty weak at times and he gets caught out of position way too often. While he gets forward quite frequently his deliveries aren't really great either.
That being said he was our best right FB last season without a doubt but I think if we are serious about getting back to the very elite of clubs we should aim for better than what those two have show so far. Naturally now that LvG is gone I hope some players will show a different (better) game of theirs.
Does it matter as long as the players don't pick up knocks and are getting fitter? I have stopped worrying about pre-season games as I have witnessed some horror shows.
No, it's not too defensive. Blind is very good on the ball, he is a positive passer and he plays with Mata and Herrera.
