Too early to start supporting the lesser evil.
This.

Right now we should be hoping all our rivals dropping points and see how things head. Football can be a funny business with things changing fast.

Interested in seeing how Conte copes with the busy Christmas schedule in the PL. If you assume his first year at Juve as a reference, we went unbeaten to win the league, but a lot of draws between winning stints and two weeks rest / mental recharge from 22 Dec to 6 Jan (the Italian festive period as a whole). There may be a natural dip this month and a new winning sprint from January?
Assuming they have a bad period dec-jan could very well lead to their demise as well. It is not very plausible but it could happen.

Call me selfish .But i only care about what United do. Who ever wins the league they deserve it.

Costa is being marked by Yacob, probably the shortest on the field...WBA are going to concede from a set play..

Probably end about 3-0 now. Get a kick up the arse half time and come out a different side

West Brom are a dull side but they are very well organized. Personnel wise they really are a very poor team but they know their job on the pitch and stick to the basics which works. They play tough football too which is inconvenient for all top teams.

50 more minutes to hold for WBA and it would be good for United.

Dunno, they go above you with a point.
No just equal and it doesn't matter, what matters is that people stop this BS all those teams above playing so much better than United. And if the score can show this Chelsea team could not break a WBA at home, despite playing "well", even better! Cause that's exactly what's happening to United.

Johnny Evans looks a damn fine player, better in my view than when he was at OT

Goal incoming, West Brom would have a really good chance of nicking a goal if they had more pace up front.

Can't see Conte bust in full, he never experienced that as a coach; more probably going a bit out of steam this month, a so-so January with an eye on the transfer window and pushing hard again from Feb.

I don't know how I want this to go.

My natural instinct is to always want Chelsea to lose, but United aren't getting anywhere near the top this season and I'd much rather Chelsea win it than either of City or the Scouse.

We aren't getting near Chelsea this season. We will finish 5th-7th, people need to start accepting that rather than losing their heads everytome we drop points (which is every weekend these days).

Chelsea for the league please, don't want City, Pool or Arsenal near it.

Im torn here, Chelsea are my non United choice for the title but it's to our benifit if the top 4/5 starts to tighten.
We need to be within striking distance to any side above us if they go 2/3 games without a win.
Also, why play two holding players v West Brom? Nothing is coming through their midfield, I thought Cesc would be perfect for this game

As somebody else said, it's too early to be rooting for the lesser of two evils. We should still be hoping for everyone above and around us to drop points.
