Oh I'm happy you love this team. May you live with it for many more seasons. Many, many more. :)
Think they are talking about the base of this team and with Jose and our spending power we will get better and better! Can see a return to normal for your guys!

Can't wait to smash the scouse cnuts at Old Trafford and shut the reprobate posters up on here. Only decent Liverpool poster is Klopper -- then again, I complimented Bob Loblaw once and he turned out to be a stupid cnut.

Will it get better and better within the 3 year Jose timeframe? Or will it be different for United with Jose?

Maximum 4 points behind the top 4 at Christmas no matter what happens today and tomorrow. Two comfortable home games coming up before the new year. How things have changed, all was looking doom and gloom this time last week where we could potentially have been 9 points behind Spurs in 5th.

Win-win whatever happens in City-Arsenal. City lose and the pressure would smoothly move from Jose to Pepe. Arsenal lose and it will be another psychological blow for a mentally fragile team. Draw and we've made up 5 points on both in the last week or so.

Just shows again how frustrating these draws were. We could be right behind Chelsea now to breathe down their neck and put pressure on them to fight it out for a potential title. Top 4 would only look like a formality, while Liverpool, Arsenal and City fight out for the places behind and we could relax and laugh

I wouldn't call 13 points behind with a much superior GD breathing right down their neck for sure.

Well if you convert the unnecessary draws the last few weeks into wins, we would be a few points behind you. We just started to be mentally ready in December. Obviously for now everything is ruined in terms of title challenge.

Definitely. I think Utd are actually favs for the 4th position for me above City and Spurs. Arsenal and Pool dropping out of top 4 is very unlikely.

Same for me. There are at most, two spaces up for grabs for us.

My original comment started by saying how poor the team was. No one mentioned base after that, just WUMMING on my given user name, etc. They know what they were doing.

Anyway you won and that's what matters. With Micky back I can see you extending that run by two more games at least.

I can see us winning 13 in a row.

These predictions keep changing drastically every few months. July and August City or Utd were guaranteed to win the league (on here). Liverpool lucky to finish fifth above Spurs.

September and October Chelsea to miss out of top four and only City able to stop those dirty scousers winning the league. Utd lucky to finish 6th.

November and now, Chelsea's league to lose. Utd favorites ahead of Spurs and City to finish 4th. Can't wait for Jan and Feb predictions. Leicester to reclaim their title? :)

Don't be fooled by the odd self-degrading post, they all crack in the end.

Think Jose will be here longer than 3 years and if he goes he will leave us with a very strong base

I will be surprised if that happens. Not known for his longevity or always leaving teams in a strong position - Inter and Chelsea are two examples of not overly thriving after his departure.

With Inter he over achieved with that squad but still left them with a good squad albeit aged. Chelsea Porto and Madrid have all been left very strong imo.

Inter I grant you but following his first Chelsea stint he left a spine that was our main challenger up until City won the lottery. They took us the distance in the league in 2008, 2010 and 2011 almost had us on penalties in the 2008 CL final and winning it in 2012. Throw in a few FA cups Chelsea did pretty well following José's first spell.

In the 5 seasons after he left we won the league, 3 fa cups, the champions league and the europa league. Not too shabby.

If we win the same in the next 5 years (after his second departure) I'd be pretty happy!

Lovely goal, that. Poor from Hojbjerg though, fell asleep.

Saw the movement on replay, brilliant from Ake.

Great goal from Bertrand. Aren't both goal scorers ex Chelsea?

I think we were linked to Bertrand during the same summer that we signed Moreno. Safe to say we made a big mistake if we did pass on him.
