£0. All of them well past their expiry date. Wes Brown is still going no? £10 for him then.

A prime Keane is upwards of 120m. They don't make em like that anymore.

Imagine how much Ronaldo would go for today. With the benefit of hindsight, £80 million was a huge bargain for Madrid.

Rio Ferdinand: £70/80M

Just think of the price paid for John Stones for being English, imagine if he had the talent of Rio. Hard to find some decent center backs these days as well.

Would Cole who didn't even play regularly for England go for £80m? I doubt it.
A player like Andy Cole would walk into the England team of today though. The difference in quality England had up front in the 90's was streets ahead of what they have today. And he was still harshly treated.

Thread name should be changed to 'how to efficiently get banned from Caf'.

Hell no!!!

A prime Scholes would be worth 60+Mill easily in today's market

If Paul Pogba is worth 90 million, how much is George Best? 300 million.

Charlton, Best and Law were Ballon d'Or winners. That means their value is easily north of £100 million each based on what one would go for these days, even if Messi and Ronaldo are freakishly good. I'd say Edwards at his best would be thereabouts also, considering his young age.

Hindsight is 20/20, but considering Ronaldo's numbers for Real, I don't think £200 million would have been unreasonable had he been bought today. We were robbed at £80 million even back then.

The rest would be around the £50-100 million mark, I think.
