As it stands, wont be missed that much, no matter what Jose says.

Hope he is back within a few weeks, rested and re-invigrated!

It might do him some good being out the limelight a little bit without all the humdrum of dropping him. Feels horrible when you pull a muscle though.

I wanted to see how we'd play without him, but not like this. Good thing the international break is coming up, the injuries have been piling up recently.

Is that straight after? Might work out just right for everybody.
Yup, last game this Sunday before the international break.

Zlatan/Pogba/Martial/Jones/Carrick will all get rest in the next couple weeks.

Hopefully the International break will give him enough time to recover, our midfield is gonna be arse on Sunday.

Not sure how we could ever cope, I mean Middlesbrough will be brining out their big guns, megastars like Adam Clayton and Grant Leadbitter in midfield, up against out inadequate squad depth midfielders of Fellaini, Carrick and Schweinsteiger?

As bad as it sounds, this was probably the best time for him to pick up the injury.

Gonna make the Boro game somewhat more challenging, but if we can pull through and get the 3 points without him, hopefully he will only miss the one league game.

The best time is at the business end of the season?

Before an international brake. I could see the positive side, if the pull is not too serious and he's back in two weeks. He wasn't gonna get any rest until the summer, otherwise.

With the way he's played, I wouldn't give two fecks if it wasn't for Herrera being unavailable at the same time.

Lol, obviously there's no good time, I just mean it's (relatively speaking) a "better" time to get an injury out of the way, so to speak.

The international break is coming up, so hopefully he can recover in that period and be fit again for when it's over.

Nonchalantly scoring the winner...
I'd actually be quite excited to see this against 'boro...

You're saying that as if it's a guaranteed walk in the park win. Look at our record against the shitty teams.
Nothing is guaranteed
All im saying is that i personally dont think the team runs around pogba. Carrick should be enough for that game next ro Ander.

Isn't Ander still suspended for that game? It'll probably be Fellaini and Carrick.

Mourinho confirmed in his post match press conference that Pogba will miss the boro game and the international game.

Rooney in midfield? The Guardian article about him being left out of the England squad hinted he'd be available for the Boro game.

Hopefully less than 3 weeks.

Jose had this coming. Give the guy a breather once in a while, you don't have to use him for 90 minutes every game.
Breather against who?

Needed him for both Rostov and Chelsea.

Not that bothered really, which sounds bad but it's been obvious for a while that he needed a rest or better management from Mourinho.

Mata or Mhki in midfield supported by our remaining CM's. I guess the front 3 will probably by Mata/Mhki, Rashford, Young/Lingard unless Martial recovers.

Watch Valdez have the game of his life for Boro.

Luckily the only competition we need to worry about is europa and that has a few weeks of break. Top 4 is gone in my opinion. Our run in is too tough.
Under Van Gaal, we had a similar run of fixtures towards the end but we still managed to get into top 4. So let's not lose hope yet.

So that's Pogba, Herrera and Zlatan out for the Boro game. This will end well.

Carrick and Fellaini should be a solid enough base against Boro to hopefully allow the likes of Mata, Mkhi and Rashford to go and win us the game. If we can just get out of that game with 3 points by any means necessary then we are well placed going into the international break, which has come at a good time.

Editing my own posts.
We looked better without him.
We really didn't. Fellaini had a decent game by his standards but the second half was noticeably a lot shitter than the the first. We scored, sure, but created far fewer chances, and also conceded slightly more..

So, yeah, but no.
