It might do him some good being out the limelight a little bit without all the humdrum of dropping him. Feels horrible when you pull a muscle though.

I wanted to see how we'd play without him, but not like this. Good thing the international break is coming up, the injuries have been piling up recently.

Zlatan/Pogba/Martial/Jones/Carrick will all get rest in the next couple weeks.

Before an international brake. I could see the positive side, if the pull is not too serious and he's back in two weeks. He wasn't gonna get any rest until the summer, otherwise.
With the way he's played, I wouldn't give two fecks if it wasn't for Herrera being unavailable at the same time.
Lol, obviously there's no good time, I just mean it's (relatively speaking) a "better" time to get an injury out of the way, so to speak.
The international break is coming up, so hopefully he can recover in that period and be fit again for when it's over.

Could be a blessing. Was the only chance of him getting any rest, similar to Zlatans suspension. Playing every minute of every game and he looks knackered. Hopefully comes back fresh in about 3 weeks time for the run in

We can, after Boro, the next match is in April 1st. Pogba deserves the rest, hopefully he won't go for internationals.

so true. No game can be taken for granted.Under Van Gaal, we had a similar run of fixtures towards the end but we still managed to get into top 4. So let's not lose hope yet.
So that's Pogba, Herrera and Zlatan out for the Boro game. This will end well.
Carrick and Fellaini should be a solid enough base against Boro to hopefully allow the likes of Mata, Mkhi and Rashford to go and win us the game. If we can just get out of that game with 3 points by any means necessary then we are well placed going into the international break, which has come at a good time.
We really didn't. Fellaini had a decent game by his standards but the second half was noticeably a lot shitter than the the first. We scored, sure, but created far fewer chances, and also conceded slightly more..
So, yeah, but no.

Because Rostov got forward more in the second half leaving more space in behind for the front three to exploit. Pogba going off had very little to do with it.
