Congratulations Chelsea

After last year's Fairytale with Leicester who thought lightening could strike twice?

Well done. Love seeing the little club's do well from time to time.
Odd thing to say about Chelsea. Spurs in the other hand yeah....

Congratulations. I did not expect it at the beginning of the season.

Feck Chelsea. Horrible club.

I pray we win the fecking league next season so I don't have to see abominations like this thread again.

They were the best team overall so no denying they deserve it.

I'm not really arsed about them winning the league at all. The only thing that changes is that it means their fans have two songs instead of one for the season afterwards.

Congratulations, no need to be bitter. If we can't win it, rather them than City, Arse, Spurs or Pool god forbid.

Horrible club, horrible players but just as others have said, better them than pool or city.
So congratulations and keep it warm for us.

I get being ok with Leicester winning it because they were huge underdogs, but Chelsea? Feck that.

Hope the players are a little bit pissed at least

I don't understand why I have to congratulate Chelsea. I mean they definitely deserved to win it, but why do I have to congratulate them?

Never had anything against Chelsea.

Local rival? No.
Bitter rival (Liverpool, Gunners)? No.
Bought their glory? Yes, who hasn't. to catch the best, you have to spend.

Weird owner? yep. Not a deal breaker.

I like them, they're okay. Conte's a good manager, they have some excellent talent. Been the best team hands down this season. Congrats boys.

Must be strange supporting a club where the only person responsible for all success in the past 10 years is some billionaire from Russia

You don't at all. It's a bizarre thread

Last season it was ok. Even though Leicester had some investment, it was an incredible feat

But feck Chelsea.

Congrats they deserved it this season.

Rather Chelsea than Liverpool or City anyway.

Sugar daddy owner - check
players downing tools on a regular basis - check
shit match going fans - check

However, i think them being robbed in 2009 of a champions league final and then winning in 2012 beating the same club on the way has made them grow on me as a club. It's actually somewhat of an iconic moment in their history. I still dont understand congratulating them though. It seems our fan base has a lot of self-hate in it, as if they take pleasure in showing that they can congratulate another team. All i know is that winners are almost always sore losers.

Now the question is who stays.......

Key names that might leave

Costa, Hazard, Willian, and Cesc. I have a feeling the willian, costa and cesc are all gone.

Hazard is the mystery. I would bet him to leave this summer or the next.

Chelsea have displayed more competence than United, City, Liverpool and Arsenal put together. Done the basics well and got the rewards. Respect.

the state of this thread.
No one wins a 38 game league by accident. Chelsea were the best team. Great effort by Conte. Congrats Chelsea, well done.
I hope we smack you silly next year

Unless there was a mass PM sent out to only United fans, I don't think you have to.

People can cingratulate Chelsea, they can say feck chelsea. The ones who decide to tell everyone that they don't care (rather than ignoring the thread, which is what they'd do if they didn't care) are my favourite.

I personally don't think Chelsea have played amazingly this season but they have been the most consistent team by a mile. Next season is going to be much, much closer. Us, the blue Utd impersonators and Spurs will all strengthen. I don't think Arsenal or Liverpool will be title contenders but they will take a few points of the others.

Chelsea, meanwhile, will sit on their laurels thereby guaranteeing that next season will be 'much, much closer', as all reports of an impending massive transfer outlay will prove to be a red herring...

They have played well and been very consistent with a manager who had an almost perfect debut season

But they are not a great side. There are no great sides at all right now in England, hence why recent years and next year are so unpredictable

Yeah fair play to Chelsea, they had one hell of a run and deserved to win the title.

Congratulations to George Burley, and FC Portfolio Investment #62913.
