Glasgow resident these days.
The team look shot of confidence. Hopefully the tactical mastermind, Jose, can come out and hang a few more out to dry in his post match presser, so we go into this final with zero confidence.
We don't even look like scoring never mind trying to win a game. The longer the final goes on without a United goal, the more these useless clowns heads will drop.
How many long helpless balls did we pump long tonight? Not even close to reaching a target either. This teams confidence is lower than a snakes arse and that is not a good place to be a week before a final. Bad management.

No other option. If we go with Smalling and Jones it will be fun as hell.
Valencia Smalling Jones Darmian is my favourite to be selected right now. Wouldn't be my choice though.

You barely concede goals. I can see Ajax getting a goal max in the final.

It's just about you getting 2 with that awful offence.

I reckon Manchester United 2-1 Ajax
in fact I'm going to put money on that.

Finally some sense.
I think Ajax will go out all guns blazing. We need to contain them, take the game to them and make them play in our rhythm. I can see Mickhi scoring a goal.
Thing is we should straight go for the 2nd and not go all defensive, 1:0 is a tricky result. Even 2:0 is.

Worst scenario would be us chasing the game. Well even worse if they put 2, 3 goals in our net but I doubt that will happen.

Will be hilarious if Mourinho went in with an LvG team.

Valencia - Mike - Blind - Darmian
Herrera - Carrick - Fellaini
Mata - Rashford - Martial

Tricky game. I'm hoping our form as of late is just us easing off in the league because if not we'll be in a spot of trouble, I'd imagine. Massive for us too, essentially determines whether it's been an alright season or a really, really poor one.

Even we will score on that Ajax defence, only question is how many we'll let in without Bailly and Rojo.

We are hoping Fellaini to be fit and bail us out in a final.
Hoping for Fellaini to give us an option in the final not bail us out.
If he's not fit we will play Ander-Pogba midfield which is too open or with Carrick and I'm not sure he can keep track.

Can't see them putting 3 past you. If that were to happen you'd lose, ain't no way you can score 3.

If they put two past you it's gonna go to extra time/pens.

1 and you've won in 90mins.

Like you say its is all about you containing them, you've been good defensively under Mourinho, but someone mentioned you don't have Bailly (or Rojo). They will be a blow for sure.

Our "best" games this season have come with Pogba-Herrera-Carrick. Hope and pray it's that and no one presses Carrick.

Mourinho on injuries: "I don’t know. Fellaini says that it’s not a tear and I think he;s experienced, gives him some confidence but he had a little bad feeling, let’s wait. Apart from that, nothing. All good."

I'm guessing preparation for this will start tomorrow if it hasn't already. Massive game

After the game tonight I think the team pretty much picks itself:

Romero
Valencia Jones Blind Darmian
Herrera
Fellaini Pogba
Mkhitaryan Rashford Lingard

Would prefer to see Martial start ahead of Lingard purely because I believe he can be a difference maker even when he isn't playing well but I reckon Lingard's record in finals coupled with his workrate will see him get the nod over him.

It's worrying that we're going into our biggest game this season with no momentum and important players off form. I hope Jose has a trick up his sleeve and he has a solid plan. I mean, our last win was away to Celta.

I really thought we would have taken the game tonight more seriously and use it a test for the final. But nope, we played for a draw again.

Martial is hopeless at the moment and Lingard is a final player. Lingard should start IMO.

I am so hoping Mourinho will lose the final.
I truly dislike almost everything about him.
How he plays, what he says and how he says it...
Only his professional personality I mean.

If Ajax have to lose than I will be sad, but happy for United as I follow them as only foreign club. But, goodness, Mourinho losing this final will almost be as pleasant as Ajax winning it.

I wont say any other manager in stead of him would do as he is a topmanager and he can get good players because of his reputation. Butgood riddance if and when is gone.

Even with Ajax we had Frank de Boer who gave us back championships, but now we have a manager who is giving us back football. Even if this manager will not get any prices we are very glad having him.

I understand a price is important for United but I hope there will come a manager soon who will give footbal back to United.

The fact we are so hard to beat gives me hope against a bunch of kids. No chance we will make it easy though.

Our team look like they have lost any joy they got from playing football. Ajax will be well up for this and there's a lot on the line. We'll have a lot of bottlers out there so it's a big worry.
