After many great teams have attempted it Ronaldo and Co. Have finally managed it.

Zidane wins the CL in his first two seasons as a manager (discounting Castilla)

12th European Cup. 3 in the last 4 years!

How does this side rank compared to the great Barcelona side?

And finally who is going to stop them next year?

This Real Madrid team is a better defence and better forward (than Benzema) away from being the best of the 21st century.

They're the biggest club in the world. Credit where it's due.

Hopefully this lights a fire under the ass of our club to reach this level in the foreseeable future.

Scary how good they are. Their attacking options are ridiculous.

Respect to them. I seriously doubted it'd be done again for a while.. We had a period reaching three finals, Barcelona had their period of domination. Bayern and Madrid themselves failed too in previous eras despite multiple final appearances. Even reaching back to back finals is tough.

Fair play, they won it with exciting attacking football as well.

They are still a circus, their fans are white underwear waving clowns. Guy scored full truck of goals for them, tonight scored two and yet few months ago he was showing their fans to clap him and not to boo/whistle at him

Fair play to Zidane. Took me a while to get on board with him but he has proven it time and time again now.

Biggest club in the world.

Best club in European football over the last 50 years.
for it.
Pretty much this. Greater than the Pep Barca side in my opinion.

Incredible. Particularly given Madrid won the league this season too.

When you think of the great sides that failed to retain the trophy, Ajax in 96, Juve in 98, us in 2009, you have to respect this.

You must be so pissed if you're a Barcelona fan. Best european team ever under Guardiola, and these guys come along and match their haul already.

They'll always be a step ahead of Barcelona or anyone else in europe it seems.

Editing my own posts.
They're the evil empire of football. Embarrassing when people try and claim we're bigger, or even on a par.

Not surprising. They have Morata, Rodriguez, and Bale as squad players. They'd immediately become our best players if we signed them. The gulf in quality is ridiculous.

Barca under Guardiola:
2 CL's, 2 league titles.

Real 2013-2017:
1 league title, 3 CL's.

They matched our entire European cup haul in 3 years. Won't lie, that hurts.

Great set of players on every position, and great back ups on almost every position. And on top of it, a wise manager that keeps them happy, and who got the respect to change formations and bench the best players when they need a rest, which is an authority all managers before Zidane never manage to establish. I think they would be very even with the Barca side from 2011. I see both of these teams as the greatest of the 21st century - but then again, 21st century has only been 17 years... Maybe we could say that it will take a while until we see such super team again, but we are heading towards the age where top teams in the greatest leagues has the funds to assemble super squads, and probably one or two decades from realising a European super league.

I think it is due to celebrate Zidane's accomplishment with this:lol::drool::

Us, Barcelona, Liverpool. Bigger in the sense of fandom, not attractiveness nor prestige.
I don't think Liverpool or even Barcelona could compete on fandom. (Guessing you mean how many fans)

If I considered everything that makes a club massive then Real are by far the biggest. Us, Barce and Bayern are probably in the next tier. With Liverpool, Milan etc in the next

All great teams lose at some point in the season. Barcelona were outstanding under Pep but still struggled to win away games in knockout rounds, pretty sure they won zero away games on route to their two CL's. This Madrid team blows teams out the water. Juventus, Bayern, Napoli (okay with some controversy) and Atletico were all dealt with comfortably.

Didn't want this to happen, but you can't say it isn't well deserved. They're simply the best and have retained it emphatically.

Their CL haul is disgustingly good. The dominant force in both incarnations of the Cup and the gold standard for everyone else.

It's not looking good for clubs claiming to be peers (such as us) with 3 Cups in their entire history when they've won that much since 2010 alone. Even 5 Cups is looking paltry in comparison to 12, which has to burn Barca to the core as even in the best period of their history, Madrid have outdone them.

Don't be silly. Liverpool have nowhere near as big of a fandom. I think the difference between the other three is not massive but Real are ahead in all other aspects.

But won the league and the CL.
yea im not denying that, but pep's barca blew many top teams away without breaking a sweat.

Unlike that team, this real team look easier to get at and they only won the league by 3 points.

Barca and Liverpool don't even come close.

United are probably the closest to them.

Not only they are the biggest club in the world, but genuinely they are a level on their own. Heck, historical wise, probably they are a couple of levels ahead of the next club (Milano).

Incredible how successful this club has been. As a club, the difference between them and us is higher than us with Spurs or Everton.

On another note, the lure of the club will be greater than ever and fighting with them for players or preventing them from prizing who they want from other clubs will be that much harder now.

If you're part of a back-to-back CL-winning side, why would you leave?
