Simple enough question, if you were to create your own Mount Rushmore with United legends then who would you pick ?

Personally I'd go with Sir Matt, Sir Alex, Bobby Charlton and Eric Cantona as my four choices although it's hard excluding all of George Best, Denis Law, Giggsy, Keane, Robson and Ronaldo.

I was going to make this thread 2 weeks ago and then didn't bother.

Sir Matt, Sir Alex, Bobby Charlton, Ryan Giggs

Probably go with Sir Matt, Sir Alex, Sir Bobby and King Eric as well to be honest.

Busby and Ferguson absolute definite and Bobby and Eric were at the forfront of the start of our two most successful periods.

I'd have to pick them based on moments they've given me. Every time I look at each individual rock on the mountain I want it to envoke sheer glory.

For that reason;

Solskjaer- quite simply responsible for the most euphoric moment I imagine any of us have ever felt as a United fan.

Beckham- that goal from the halfway line, one of my earlier crystal clear football memories. His mountain statue would look good too.

Berbatov- two reasons. That overhead kick against Liverpool, and that ridiculous berbaspin to set up Ronaldo. Was left with my hands on my head in disbelief both times.

SAF- he just has to be part of it, simple as.

If we're including managers then SAF and Busby are dead certs. Charlton too given he's the club's greatest player all told.

That leaves one up for debate. Personally, I'd go with Cantona too. Not the best United player by a long shot but certainly one of the most iconic and signing him was one of the most crucial steps in SAF's creation of the modern Manchester United. Plus he'd look damn good up there.

More amazed that no ones picked the best midfield 4 of all time

Becks, keane, scholes, giggs

Bloody good Mount Rushmore that
I have 3 of those, but Cantona for me has to be in there.

Lingard, Welbeck, Lingard, Welbeck. If it's to be a tribute to legendary local lads.

Busby, Ferguson, Charlton, Best.

The first three self-explanatory. Best over Cantona/Giggs because he was the one who propelled the club to global fame.
