Easy.

Ronaldo, Beckham, Pogba and Ferguson.

Why these four? Well, the point of Mount Rushmore was to attract tourism so by doing that you put the most famous faces on the landmark. Sir Alex is synonmous with the club in modern times. Beckham is the most famous footballer ever going by facial recognition. Ronaldo is close to that top as well and I think by the end of it Pogba will too. Since it's a job that will take a long time I'll just finish his face last just in case the times will change.

Sir Alex, Giggys, Scholesy, Keano, Cantona

Super biased towards the era I grew up in but still good I think.

I think Sir Matt, Sir Alex and Sir Bobby are all a certain for me, but the fourth is a tricky one. Giggs with all those appearances, Best due to how good he was for us, Rooney as he's our top goalscorer.... If I had to pick I think I'd opt for Best because how of he helped take us to another level in terms of stature, how good he was, and he much he's ingrained in our history as part of the holy trinity and whatnot.

Sir Alex Ferguson, Sir Matt Busby, Sir Bobby Charlton.

I'd leave a gap until someone deserves the 4th one. Giggs would be the obvious pick as our most decorated player, but we need a bit of time before we put him up

Might be controversial but I don't see why Giggs gets ahead of guys like Cantona etc he was never really a pivotal figure or the leader of any of our great sides.

Guys like Law and Best were ballon d'Or winners and led us to great triumphs. I don't think longevity alone is enough to get ahead of footballers of that stature.

Best and Law are right up there with greatest British footballers of all time whereas Giggs wouldn't get in my top 3.

I'll take the easier route and do one for managers, administrators and coaches:

Alex Ferguson, Louis Rocca, Matt Busby, Jimmy Murphy

And then one for players:

Bobby Charlton, Paul Scholes, George Best, Eric Cantona

There are just too many worthy and influential candidates for United, and the importance of some is often undermined - particularly in the former category: e.g. Rocca was associated with United for half a century - starting with the Newton Heath F.C. days - reportedly lobbying for and finalizing the name 'Manchester United' in 1902 - playing a big part in leading the club out of financial peril in 1932 in the Second Division days with James Gibson - organizing a robust scouting and academy structure that paid dividends over the long term and became the hallmark of United's broader image - assuming the role of Chief Scout and assistant manager - leading to the appointment of Matt Busby and the '48 Cup win towards the end of his life. 4 is kind of a restrictive of a number, overall, and his legacy is superior to some of the players mentioned in terms of the big picture, so leaving him out of an aggregate list would be unfair.

Why are so many people saying Ronaldo?? As a Utd player he was brilliant but he didn't do something that no one else has done. We already had Ballon D'Or winners and players who led us to the CL before. For me the faces on the Utd Mt. Rushmore should be those who did something that is unique.

For the 4 would be-
Sir Matt- Our first great manager who made Utd the stuff of legend we are today. To moulding the Busby Babes and overcoming the Munich disaster to lead us to the European Cup.
Sir Alex- An unprecedented reign of success that wasn't seen before and not likely to be ever replicated.
Sir Bobby- Utd's leading goalscorer and appearance holder for so long that he has achieved an exalted status in the Utd pantheon that can never be overcome, even though both of his achievements have been.
Ryan Giggs- Our record appearance maker and most decorated player. A perfect embodiment of how Utd keep changing with the times and still stay at the top.

Simple enough question, if you were to create your own Mount Rushmore with United legends then who would you pick ?

Personally I'd go with Sir Matt, Sir Alex, Bobby Charlton and Eric Cantona as my four choices although it's hard excluding all of George Best, Denis Law, Giggsy, Keane, Robson and Ronaldo.
Exact same. Fergie and Sir Matt are obvious, Bobby Charlton comes next but Eric along with Fergie was the catalyst to our most successful period ever.

Sharp, Vodafone, AIG, Chevrolet.
It was difficult to leave Ronaldo out but Chevrolet is more trustworthy.

If we're including managers, Busby, Fergie, Charlton, Giggs (perhaps Cantona). If it's just players, Charlton, Robson, Cantona, Giggs.

There should only really be a single place up for discussion.

Sir Matt Busby
Sir Alex Ferguson
Sir Bobby Charlton

If we are going down that route, then there should really be no place up for discussion.

As a rival fan the four people instantly came to mind.

Ferguson, Busby, Charlton and Cantona. All of them dramatically affected your history and success.

I'd have loved to include him but my appreciation for George Best as a footballer wouldn't be enough to add him sadly, despite me thinking he's one of - if not the best player ever. He just wasn't around enough or influenced as much as the other 4. Cantona gets the nod purely cos after he joined from Leeds, United started their domination of English football.

Well obviously I was only joking but yes that's actually a good call.

That's my 4 then.
Yeah I didn't think your Moyes was serious in the slightest ffs

Sir Matt - started it all (well modern-day United!) with 'Busby Babes'
Sir Alex - under him we dominated the first twenty years of the Premier League, laying the ground for the clubs commercial success, as well as football success
Giggs - for the wonderful solo run and goal against Arsenal in the FA semi-final
Solskjaer - for that unforgettable goal in final, sealed the CL and the treble

Well that's a very hard one. Sir Matt and Sir Alex should be there but I'm going for Keane and Robson because they embody United as a club. Keane vs Juventus in 99 or Robson vs Barca in 84 sums up this club

Overall, it'd have to be;

Busby, Charlton, Fergie and Giggs

Hard to leave out Robson, but he wasn't key in a period of success in the way the other 4 were.

Based on my own lifetime as a fan;

Fergie, Eric, Giggs & Ole.

Honorable mentions to Scholes, Gary, Schmikes, & Ronnie.

Sir Matt and the Holy Trinity (Best, Charlton, Law - not Ronaldo, Rooney and Tevez!)

Sir Alex, although omitted from Mount Rushmore, deserves his very own Christ the Redeemer.

Why do we only get four choices? I mean, why can't we have more legends on our mountain.

Managers: Sir Matt, Sir Alex

Players: Law, Charlton, Best, Giggs, Scholes, Edwards, Keane, Ronaldo, Cantona, Robson, Schmeichel

For me if it was for a Manutd theme park it would be Fergie, Cantona, Giggs and Sir Bobby.

If it was a mini version i was building in my back yard for myself it would be Schmeichel, Giggs, Rooney and Cantona.
