Yes, I’m finding the same. I watched True Detective last week and enjoyed it. Also watched David Fincher films Zodiac (obviously a true story) and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo which were both enjoyable.
Did you see the original Swedish TV miniseries for this? For me, it is the best interpretation of the books - a must see if you liked the US version

I haven’t. Thanks for the recommendation. I see that the Swedish version of the sequel is on Netflix so I’ll check that out too.

Travelers are back, and they are still pretty good.

Another actor from Continuum joined the cast, plus we get Samantha Carter and Keith Mars!

Possibly the worst Stephen King adaptation I've ever seen. It had absolutely nothing going for it.
Am with you on this. I thought it started on a promising note but later just died down into unimaginable boredom. Kinda reminded me of Under the Dome.

Have you watched the second season of The Exorcist yet? Totally no holds barred horror, quite well done :)

Yeah I am watching season 2 on an episode to episode basis, I wish I could wait to binge it but I just can't help myself.

This season is more pure horror, and they are doing it well, the hospital chick was super freaky.

Altough I must admit that I miss the Rance's, because part of what made season 1 so great was how they conveyed the pain the family felt in the grip of the demon.

Looking forward to when they arrive at the Island with the childrens home, this demon seems vicious, more so than the one from season 1.

This is actually very funny and extremely well put together. Maybe not for everyone, but watch the first episode and you'll know.

Yeah pretty decent. I didnt think they'd be able to have ten episodes based on the premise but it's a decent watch.

Anyone watch The Killing from a few years back? I'm also addicted to The Big Bang Theory :nervous:

Watching Wet Hot American Summer: Ten Years Later

A bit lame, but still some laugh worthy scenes come every now and then. Also, is Bradley Cooper so big now, that he doesn't have any time to participate, or he's not in good relations with the others?

Been watching The Good Place. Starts off a bit slow like all shows but really enjoying it. Written by the same guy who did Parks and Rec, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Office (US).

Storyline:
The Good Place is a town where those who have been good throughout their lives go once they have passed away. Michael is the architect who oversees the town. Eleanor arrives at the Good Place and realizes she doesn't deserve to be there. With the help of Chidi, Eleanor tries to right her wrongs seeking to finally earn her spot in the Good Place.

Noteable Cast:
Kristen Bell
Ted Danson
(rest are fairly unknown)

New episode tonight
 - I like it myself for the first few season but felt the show started to become less funny, lost all direction and purpose. There is no real story to tell anymore because everyone has found a partner. (Apart from Raj). The things I loved about it initially are all gone.

The way they treat Raj is cruel. All his friends are in relationships, married or have a child, while Raj is portrayed as the unlovable Indian.

Just my opinion.

I only started watching a few years ago but maybe it has run it's course now after 12 seasons.

I agree, but with the ratings still so strong, you can't blame them for milking it.
Been watching it since the pilot came out over a decade ago and while it was a great show then, it's rapidly lost it's charm. I still watch it for the same reason I watched HIMYM to the end, just because I've already invested a lot of time in it!

I gave up when Penny cut her hair. I don't regret that decision at all.

Until I read this page, I would've been willing to bet at least 10 bucks that Big Bang Theory ended a few years ago.
It's never going to end. I think it's got better ratings than Two and a Half men did in it's 11th season .That would have actually probably still been on if Charlie Sheen was still on the show.

I love it!
Slippery slope that. First it's just good fun to decouple from work, maybe watching it with friends. Then after a while, you feel empty and left craving for more. Leading you deeper down the dark pit experimenting with things such as Fuller House and Glee. Before you know it, you're stuck in the quest for cheap entertainment and find yourself wasting your life away watching all 42 seasons of Bold and the Beautiful. Finally bottoming out with Venezuelan soap opera, which will suck the last drops of life out of you.
