The decision making from the offensive players was the worst I've ever seen.

Tough fixture, delighted with the 3 points. Forget it and move on.

Our attacking players deserve a bollocking for their performance IMO, they all looked aloof today.

I would have taken a one nil result before kickoff, but the same problems are presenting themselves again. We look hugely under coached and quite frankly clueless in the attacking third.

Was confident about the match. Burnley don't really score many goals or create chances and Jones wasn't about to let a goal in today.

The attack today...to sum it up: Complacency. Too many attacks that were wasted with the wrong decision. Honestly we should have easily won by 2 or more goals.

Overall happy with the win against a frustrating opponent.

Shit performance. Martial motm for me because he was the match winner and was the only player in our midfield/attack who actually hit his normal heights after his goal. The rest were so so poor, though Lukaku did brilliantly for the goal. Jones class at the back, probably the best throughout, as did Valencia. The others meh.

Sanchez for the next game

We do clearly have some talented players.

What goes on in their thick heads though, I will never understand. Decision making is absolute trash.

Are we gonna get any explanation for where those 6 minutes came from?

Great win, Pogba would have been rightly killed by everyone for fecking up that 3 on 1 if they had scored

The performance was fine - professional away display at a horrible ground.

So wasteful though. Pogba needs to stop trying to score worldies and Rashford is in a horrible rut.

Martial FC rolls on!

Hope Dean is held accountable for those 5 (+1) minutes. This is bizarre. There were 3 minutes tops of injury time to be added. I hope Mourinho demands an explanation for that.

We need to play a midfield 3. Decisions in the final third were awful, should have scored 2-3 times on the counter. Good result was always going to be a difficult game.

The End?
Decision making on the counter was horrific today, should've won by 3-4 today. Still though, good win at a hard ground to play at.

I have no idea where those five minutes (which turned into six) came from.

Burnley were real crap. No surprise that their results have regressed because you can’t expect the wins they were getting with their limited chances.

We made hard work of that. We are so poor at converting dangerous attacks, for example with a man advantage on the counter, into clear chances and therefore goals. We can’t bang them in from range every match. We need to make smarter decisions and remain composed.

Hard fought win, Burnley away never easy.

Should definitely have scored another on the counter too.

Won, so don't care about performance. Was always gonna be tough, they love a big home game it seems.

I did like they we Burnlied the shit out of that 2nd half, did exactly what they did at Old Trafford, the time wasting shites. Difference being Dean actually kept adding the time on, which didn't happen in the home game. Oh well.

I like Dyche, but I did get sick of his stupid laughing face over every decision.

Where the feck did that sorry excuse for a ref find 5 minutes injury time then almost played 6!!!

And why aren't our forwards passing the ball to Lukaku?

The win is all important!

Come on Newcastle!

Very happy for the 3 points. Really need to be able to kill games off. This 1 nil drives me nuts.

Anyway, a much needed 3 points.

Should really have killed the game. Pogba and Lingarrd should have passed instead of shooting. Still though good win in a tough place.

So are Mike Dean games always a minimum of 5-6+ minutes of stoppage time even when the game has had minimal stops and only 5 subs

Not entirely sure why Rashforf didn't just pass the ball to Lukaku. Would have been comfortably 2-0 towards the end. Really poor decision making.

Get in there. Had a horrible feeling we would make a balls of it and it would take the excitement away from the Sanchez deal. Thankfully we didnt so back to refreshing Twitter every 5 minutes now again. :)

Excellent win from a pretty poor performance. Some of our decision making and all of our movement off the ball was atrocious.

Phil Jones was man of the match by about 400 miles.

Great results
But few point needed to address - decision making in final 3rd need to be better, we could have scored 2 more if progba and lingard have better decision making and Rashford, don’t know what have happened to him.... look disinterested in front of goal

Always going to be a tough game, three points was all that mattered.
Does Barnes have to fall down under every bit of content? I'm also sure Dyche practices his "I can't believe we didn't / they got that decision" face in the mirror
