This is true. But how good would they have been with Brady? 14-16 wins is likely and probably another SB appearance. It's not like Baltimore, Indianapolis, Miami, Pittsburgh, and Tennessee were greatness defined that year.
He is a free agent so could be tempted with one last shot at glory. Although I think he will stay in NO

Brady was incredible but the Pats defence won them the game , stepped up big time at the end. As for the Brady BB discussions well as good a coach as BB is it is genuinely bullshit to suggest Brady is a Goat because of BB only. The whole Rodgers wankfest is becoming tiresome now , I actually love Rodgers but it is ridiculous to suggest that Brady is a tier below in terms of ability. Qb isn't just about the throwing arm , it has a lot of things other than just pure arm strength and Brady is as good if not better than Rodgers in every aspect
Cousins = stat compiler. The modern day Neil Lomax. I think he's a mental midget and not sure if tossing 25-35m per year is a wise investment. He'd definitely open up the downfield passing game but he'd also make frequent mistakes, and the Jags would lose that Bortles scrambling element.
Smith = yes. Great competition for Bortles and an improved version of Bortles. Probably the right guy for this side barring someone like Jimmy G somehow turning up there.
I could buy into that argument. But Brady put the ball there for him ... sometimes I do wish a conversation on this forum about Brady could exist without sheer hate and bias.
How about Joe Gibbs, 3 SB wins , 3 different starting QBs. Theismann, Williams and Rypien.
The bottom line is, it was a TEAM win. After all it’s a football team. Not just Brady. Or Bill. Or Amendola. Or Harrison.

It goes both ways. BB and staff had far more superior talent in 2008 as well, and Cassell filled a bus driver role ala Bortles, Smith, etc. But Brady elevates them to another 2-5 wins in the regular season and at least an AFC title game appearance.
He seems very connected to the NO community, if given a choice I think he stays. But just guessing.

I think if you swap Brady with Rodgers Wilson or brees for example, patriots might just do the same (I do think Brady being Brady has an affect on play calling on the opposition late in games)
Then again swap Brady into those teams he struggles. He defo struggles in green bay cos of the horrendous play calling lol

Yeah, that's like greatness right there. They also had the best OL of that era, three great receivers, a great running game, a great defense, etc. That 87 win was the odd one - they weren't exactly spectacular in the regular season but hit a stride in a weak NFC postseason field after the top teams that year, New Orleans and San Francisco, both choked against an average Minnesota side. That SB win probably vaulted Gibbs up a few rungs.
His 82-83 sides were fantastic as was that 91 side.

Well it is not untrue at all . Rodgers is a great QB but I don't see much that makes him better than Brady. Brady on the other hand has 5 rings and 8 SB appearances which is something Rodgers can't even come close to matching. If I was building a team I would take Brady probably 51 times out of a 100 but Rodgers fanboys make it seem like it's not even a contest with things like how he is Big Ben level

Saints weren't exactly shit this year and barring a mental lapse by a defender, Brees would be starting in a few minutes with a shot at a second SB appearance. Zero incentive to leave NO based on how this season fared.
