Under current rules, how is that a yellow?
If the media focus on United players for fouls then don't on other teams (like Spurs) and if the media goes on and on about money when it comes to United (i.e. the cost of the Sanchez transfer) but not for other clubs (i.e. LFC and VvD or City and shed-loads of money spent), then I don't see how it's non-existent.
The media have used United's size for ages to sell stories, papers, web hits and while I think it's lazy journalism, I know it comes with the territory of being such a huge worldwide club so ignore them. But over the last couple of years (possibly linked to Jose coming), the media slant on United Vs other clubs has definitely got worse and increasingly biased.
Jose is always grumpy, Jose/United just spend cash, United are boring to watch, etc ..... wheres the balance? Where's the media story on Peps spend over the last 8-9 years? A Cafite posted it and it paints a clear picture on Peps continual spending but you hear diddly about Saint Pep but it's constant on United.
I've got no issue with reporting the good and the bad, as long as it follows for all clubs.
