It's that time of year. Conference tournaments across the country have already started. Conference champions and at-large participants (a total of 64 teams after the Opening Round concludes) get a pass to the Big Dance.

Selection Sunday: March 11 (this is when you fill out your bracket)
Opening Round: March 13-14
First and Second rounds: March 15-18
Sweet 16: March 22-23
Elite Eight: March 24-25
Final Four: March 31
National Championship game: April 2

Last year's highlights, set to the official un-official song of the tournament:

Personal opinion: I think Izzo and MSU bring it home this year. Rooting for tOSU and FGCU.

How did Purdue get a second seed and MSU a third seed? Not that I really care. I'm rooting for Michigan. Go Blue!

He is wrong. They got stomped twice by Michigan and had an extremely favorable big ten schedule that allowed them to rack up a good record with barely any quality wins.
Yeah. When he made that comment they were on a great run. I loved watching Michigan beat them twice. There are a few 'experts' who have picked the Spartans to win it all though.

Starting in an hour, a co-worker got me into it as he's a hardcore Kentucky fan.

Not sure which team to support since it's the first time I'm going to follow it. Any suggestions? An up-and-coming team with a few future NBA prospects would be nice, so no Duke or anything. That Arizona fella looks decent, I heard?

Yeah, that's probably the best option. Now I have to fill in that damn bracket and I don't know half of the teams. Gonna go with Villanova.

Hope you didn't pick Arizona.

Edit: I see you went with Villanova. Better choice for sure.

Michigan struggled early on. They could lose the next game or go all the way. Hard to tell with those guys.

Obama had Gonzaga going through against Ohio State, so obviously the opposite will happen.

Bugfalo knocks Arizona out and invalidates all brackets made more than 100 miles away from the Buffalo area.

My brother is graduating from UB this spring. He says campus was a riot last night.
I'm sure it was. Lansing goes crazy when the Spartans win a championship. Couches burning in the street is a normal sight. :nervous::lol:

Who is the best player that has declared for the draft? Is Doncic still regarded as the #1 or not? There was a huge hype around Trae Young but I understand he’s not even a guaranteed top 10 pick?

Young has fallen and is not top 5 anymore. He should be top 10.

Doncic and Ayton are first two, then Porter, Jackson Jr, Bagley, Bamba and Carter. After that there is both Bridges, Knox, Sexton and Walker.

I like the fact Miles Bridges is falling. He could be perfect for Blazers and maybe we will be able to trade up.

Nevada beat Texas, so Bamba is out, as well. He fouled out at the end and missed OT, although the calls were shite, in fairness.

First year I've ever really watched any of it. Seems I picked a good year.

Same. I wanted to see the top draft prospects, mostly, but I'm already hooked and watching as much as I can.

Funnily enough, my team (Lakers) have had high picks recently and I haven't watched. Now they won't have a high pick, Ive watched a few.

Duke have the ball and look like an NBA team. And then you see them play zone on defense. Kind of surreal. College ball is indeed a different beast, I suppose.
