Guys u are underestimating Tuchel. I watched many Games in Germany, and his football was in some parts better then Guardiola.

Even Xavi, Heynckes, Guardiola himself says a tuchel is genious

Tuchel would improve Arsenal for sure, but I am not confident he will solve all their problems. Their soft mentality and defensive problems are pressing issues.

What a lot missing here is that Tuchel turns down Bayern. There are literally few clubs in the world that can be seen as a more attractive destination for a German coach. I am sorry but i dont think Arsenal or Chelsea are that kind of clubs. PSG, United ot what about Real Madrid if Zidane leaves?!

Has Abramovich ever appointed a manager who hasn't won anything? Arsenal seems the most likely fit, especially given they've just bought two players that performed really well for Tuchel and Dortmund.

So next season could look like this;

Man City - Pep Guardiola
Arsenal - Tommy Tuchel
Spurs - Poch
Man United - Reg Varney
Chelsea - Luis Enrique
Liverpool - Klopp
Our style of football will definitely have to improve as there will be even more sticks to beat Jose with. I hope this has dawned on him and he doesn't have the attitude that he will prove you can win with his boring style. This summer will be vital for him.

Well, if the news is to believed, he turned them down because he had already reached an agreement with another club before they approached him with an actual offer on this very Friday.
So, it's absolutely possible, even very likely that he goes to a London club.

It's not good for him, and it's not good for us. We fecked up. Hoeness fecked up. Now we're stuck with Nagelsmann, or Kovac, or fecking Löw.

I want Hoeness out as soon as possible. I'm really angry right now.
Yesterday I was furious and now I have officially given up any hope and I m so unbelievable sick to hear the hypocritial nonsense he is talking about and the direction Bayern heading in since Hoeneß came back..his incompetence knows no boundries and to hear the crap he is talking is unbearable.

The search for a new SD was as embarrassing as possible with the clown Salihamidzic as solution and the search for a coach seems to be as embarrassing, if not much more depending on the result.

I think I need a break from football..Bayern make me sick..incompetent clowns.

Or maybe Tuchel has agreed to join either Arsenal or Chelsea and wants to stick to the agreement like a gentleman.

kind of glad Bayern ditched that bullet.
Tuchel is possibly closest to Pep football-wise on the market, but he also matches him in being uncopromising and stubborn. Wouldn't have worked with some of the players and certainly not with the management. They like themselves to be in control and only gave a part of it to Pep becuase he was Pep, and only begrudgingly. Would never have given Tuchel that ammount of control.
Tuchel will work well in a club where the owners show up every year to check the cash register.

Can someone explain what the fuss about this guy is?
His Dortmund team was one of the most exciting teams in Europe and banging in goals for fun and playing some incredible stuff. Can’t see him going to Arsenal with the scout issue. Someone mentioned Everton and that would be intresting. Scouse Darby.

The more good competition the better, but we will be stuck with "Park the Bus" for another year at least.

It's all very obvious. We (Bayern) get Klopp, Tuchel goes to Liverpool, because Tuchel always follows on Klopp (see Mainz, Dortmund). ;)

Would absolutely hate it if he went to a rival club. If given time at a good club he will take them to the top.

It'll be a shame to see another good coach join a rival and get them playing exciting football. Wish it were us he was joining, but never mind.

Though a club like Arsenal would be a match for Tuchel, there is no way he is moving there with Mislintat as Head Scout. So it seems Cheslea may be his choice, which I don't find a great match because he'd have to change a lot of things to make the team play his way.

Either way, disappointed he's going to an English club and not staying in Germany. Interesting to see who Bayern bring in now.

Then he should be given time to fix it.

This guy reckons he is going to a top foreign club. Nothing about English
That is true. So the thread title isn't quite correct as of yet. Who knows, maybe Tuchel goes to PSG?
But I don't think so. I think it is Chelsea. It would need to be a club that has made a concrete verbal agreement with him.

The timing of this is a bit curious. Last monday Kicker published a story about how Hummels would be looking for a way out if Tuchel joined Bayern, then later that same day Tuchel made a PR meal out of his witness testimony in the bus attack trial. It wouldn't suprise if Bayern actually turned him down and he's leaking the reverse scenario to the press.

I would consider that a possiblility too if the SZ article wasn't so very specific about what happened, and I don't think they'd source this only on a Tuchel leak.

Not a big Bundesliga follower but surely the clamour around the glorious Tuchel is a bit much considering his entire honour lists involves a solitary German Cup.

Of course they could have. You always can if you actually want. UEFA just didn’t give a shit, Monaco acted like total assholes and didn’t help at all and Watzke seemed to be too afraid to stand up for his employees. They never even tried to find an actual solution, because they didn’t want to find one.
How did Monaco acted like total assholes, what did they do?

I don't know about that, you think someone of Bayern's circle would leak that they (all but) "begged" Tuchel to sign for them? And stuff like Tuchel supposedly already preparing for taking over after Ancelotti surely can only come from him?
