I don't believe Arsenal are doing this while Wenger is still around and hasn't announced his departure.

Another young attacking manager gone. PSG or Chelsea.

Will be interesting to see what Tuchel can do with players like Neymar, Mbappe, Verratti. Especially Mbappe, seeing what he has done with Dembele.

If it is Arsenal it would be hilarious. That means Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang and Ozil knew he´d become their manager in the summer. By the time the Milan games came around the whole team probably knew, and Wenger was like: I knew I could still motivate them to perform.

Would explain why Özil signed an extension.

LOL Arsenal fans are already complaining that Tuchel is a cheap and underwhelming option, because they didn´t want to pay for a real coach like Rodgers. These guys really deserve Wenger. What a bunch of dimwits.

Basically someone who doesn't enjoy pressure then? Makes sense. He can finish 5th and still be labelled as a messiah in eyes of Liverpool fans. The expectations are high at the major clubs.
Or maybe there is more pressure in working from a lower starting point because you are challenging yourself to build something good. More satisfaction in success.

Different strokes for different folks.

It's fun seeing bayern's fan reactions here
How about letting some billionaires invest some money into your league eh? so maybe we cant stop "Continental Scottish League" into happening. ;)
I shudder at the thought of what the likes of Schalke, Wolfsburg, HSV or Hertha would do with even more money to piss at incompetent managers and overrated players. There are about 8 Bundesliga clubs with more money to spend than Sevilla.

I am wondering if you trophies are the only things that matter types think Luis Enrique is a great manager? How about Zidane?
No, not all that matters but seriously the exaggeration of Tuchel and especially Sarri here is quite ridiculous tbh.

Exactly. Man United were criticized even after beating arsenal at Emirates but klopp was praised for giving away 2 goal lead and drawing 3-3. Same with poch, imagine how media would have reacted had we drew to rochdale and Newport. United have higher expectation and no matter who the manager is ,our fans will criticize him.

Because he got more money. Funny Sanchez was accused of joining United for money when in reality it was ozil who stayed because of money.

Unless Wenger has made it clear to the board he's definitely had enough, I'd say there's more chance that we've approached him than Arsenal.

In saying that, the German press are reporting it to be Arsenal today and they don't usually make bold claims unless they've got a very reliable source.

PSG makes a lot more sense than Arsenal. They are more proactive than the Arsenal board and are pretty much planning on their next manager already with Emery certainly going in the summer. Reckon Tuchel could have an agreement with them.

Don't think Wenger will be sacked if he wins the Europa, so the board won't be looking just yet.

Wenger could have told them he is stepping down.

Tuchel? Not against that one, he is hardly a very inspiring choice. Seems loyal though, guess that’s what Arsenal really want. He was fired by Dortmund wasn’t he?

This is just awesome. Bayern probably thought they could dictate the game rules like they always do, fair play to Tuchel for letting them stand in the rain. I hope Heynckes doesn't stand up for his old buddies Kalle and Hoeneß again and walks after this season, all the options they have right now are kind of laughable (well, I rate Favre but I don't think he has the stomach to deal with the FC Hollywood). This really turned into Kroos 2.0 for them.
As for Arsenal: In Tuchels position I wouldn't go there, whoever takes over from Wenger will probably be King of the ashes. Half their squad is out of contract in the summer, from the 'quality' players remaining I only rate Özil (Mkhi and Aubameyang are vastly overrated, although they worked under Tuchel), their owner seems unwilling to spend and the expectations from the fans will be boarderline unrealistic since everyone seems to think that only Wenger is holding this club back from winning the league. That club is a poisened chalice.
PSG is an interesting one, Tuchel never struck me as the cup specialist (he won it with Dortmund tbf, their only title since the double in 2012), yet this is the only thing that counts as the league is given anyway. However, his sociopathic behaviour would probably suit PSG the best since the owners don't seem to give a shit whats actually happening and happenly splash the cash as long as the results are right (unlike Chelsea for example where I can see him colliding with Abramovich pretty quickly).

Arsenal won't win Europa. There's more chance of City blowing the title than Wenger outsmarting Simeone.

Yep, Griezmann-Costa-Saul is just too much quality for the rest of the Europa League to bear. Simeone won't bottle this.

But even so, the Arsenal board won't make a decision until Arsenal are knocked out, which is what I meant. Hence, it is doubtful they have contacted Tuchel or anyone. And I don't think Wenger will step down himself at the end of the season even if he wins nothing, it has to be a sacking.

Tuchel to Everton would be interesting. I hear they pay top dollar for their managers.

Cannot believe that the fans of one of the most successful clubs in Europe, historically and recently, aren't happy with their board. Yet United fans are more than happy to give almost everyone involved in the CL clusterfeck against Sevilla the benefit of the doubt.

In any case, I think Tuchel to Chelsea will be a huge riot waiting to happen, if that goes through, with Tuchel's record against the Board and Abrahamovic being himself.
Bayern supporters expect a certain level of competence from their directors. I can't speak for other United supporters, but I'm just satisfied when we look semi-competent.

We have high standards, have we. :D No one denies their part in making the club successful, doesn't mean i'm happy with every one of their decisions. Both of them fecked up royally, occasionally (Pep, Kroos, not to mention fan treatment or their position in the 50+1 discussion...)

Why is Tuchel a big deal? Just because he's done alright with Dortmund?

Kicker or Bild? One is suggesting Arsenal and the other PSG. Which is more reliable?

Those people who count silverware to measure a managers ability hire the likes Mou or Ancelotti. Others look beyond that: How do they improve players, tactics, what style do they have the team play, etc. Many of the latter rate him. I even kid myself into thinking that at least some club owners don't only rely on the info we, as humble supporters, have access to, but also talk to people who have a more direct contact to the man and players who played unter him. (Not all mind, i'm positive some of them read the daily mail's headlines and then throw some dice)
I recon he'll be a good successor for Wenger.

Moshiri was on about getting a world class manager when they sacked Koeman.

I think he wanted Ancelotti but being mid season was an issue so then they went for Marco Silva and then eventually ended up with Big Sam.
They were also actually linked with Wenger if he left Arsenal which would be amusing.

I could see Everton making an approach as they'll spend a decent amount again in the summer. Whether Tuchel would be interested I don't know.

Everton are rumoured to be chasing Pellegrini. Hopefully he's outrunning them.
