I have an idea, let SAF take over for the next 45 mins.

I bet we would win 2-3.

Does someone think Smalling is better than Rojo?
Smalling is probably the better natural defender(whilst somehow managing to always look unnatural). Rojo probably isn’t as good but is a bit warrior like and will put his body on the line, which probably actually makes him better. In short I don’t actually know. Sometimes you do just have to kick the crap out of your opponents which I can’t imagine Smalling doing.

Sell big, buy big this summer. We need a top class XI. Not this dross.
We’ve bought players with incredible reputations. They look lost because there is no system or cohesion. It’s the constant past it, defensive managers that are hindering us.

Get Martial Rashford and Mata on for the Pogba, Sanchez and 1 other.

Those players deserve to be on the pitch than some of the overpaid mercenaries we have on show today.

People blaming Smalling for the first - which of our other defenders would have stopped that? He is by far, to an almost embarrassing extent, our best header of the ball in our defence. So if even he couldn't stop Kompany than who the hell would have? Don't get me wrong, he should have done better, but at least he can win some against Kompany. None of our others would.
It was because he was marking him poorly. Stood next to him instead of in front of him, gave Kompany a free run at the ball.

They're a better team than us though. Not better individual players, but definitely a better team with a clear philosophy. Probably going to take 2nd from us as well.
So we've out spent them and yet cannot build a team, who is to blame for that? Players have been pathetic but Mourinho has no clue time and time again when playing big games away from home.

That's a gross oversimplification of what's going on. Do you honestly think Pogba was good that half?
Not really. The defence is in shambles and had crippled us with their ridiculous performance. But hey lets blame one of the very few players we've got who can actually dribble and pass.

The players are to blame for this. They simply lack the personality.

Kompany vs Smalling. Golden example. There's nothing the manager can do about this. Really, really poor performance from the players.
It's like Smalling just accepts Kompay is going to bully him and therefore lets it happen on every corner.

You don't think City have spent over twice what they would have without financial doping?

You think they'd have had over 3 billion spend without being bought by an actual country.
  You think Pep has spent twice as much as Jose?

Like I said, factually incorrect. Read the post again. It doesn't make sense.

And the rest is irrelevant to what I've said. Yes City's success is shallow due to the foreign ownership but their coach is simply out performing ours by a country mile which was the actual point I was making. No amount of hiding behind excuses will change that.

Nearly 2 years since we appointed this manager and we. cannot put more than 2 passes together against our rivals. What the feck do we do in training? Heads need to roll, starting with the manager. City may yet go through against Liverpool, but they will know they have been in a game. This match looks like a training session for City.

What a set of useless cnuts we have wearing the red shirt. Smalling, Young, Valencia and Lingard are all absolutely shite and should be nowhere near our club.
Lingard wouldn't start at any of the other top four clubs (wouldn't even get a game at City) and yet he's first choice here. It's absurd.

We need to be far more ruthless than we have been.

I can understand losing to a better team but when an entire 11 just don’t look like they want to try and score that’s when you get frustrated.

Sanchez has slipped over every time he’s near the ball. Pogba gives the ball away and then jogs back. Matic just keeps playing backwards. Even De Gea has been poor with his distribution.

These are the top players we have, so what chance do we have when all of them don’t turn up?

All he did is what he always does on crosses... pull the guy by his shirt and hope for the best. It didn’t work this time and it’s completely his fault.

Jose deserves one more season to make this team his own and cut this sort of shite out. But if he can't do that, then questions need to be asked as he will have no excuses to hide behind.

Really don't want to see Smalling or Valencia start next season for us.

Might as well buy Messi, Neymar, Mbappe while we are at it. This is mainly on Mourinho, we look incapable of playing proper football, physically as well as mentally, unable to string a few passes together, create, move, basically play and attack well as a unit. Buy any player, until Jose is here, this type of play is going to continue.

Imagine we had an actual captain with half the passion of Vincent Kompany. That would be something.

I'd love to see Sanchez go off for Rashford at HT.

Also I'd love to see somebody put a rocket up Sanchez's arse. He's a much better player than he's shown - maybe trying to be too nice? We don't need nice.

This a million percent. Every ime City lose the ball their 1st instint is to foul. We get booked for it but it's fine if City do it. Honestly how refs cannot pick up on Peps tactics is a joke. But then again they all thick cnuts who are happy to please the masses.
Another sneaky and effective tactic from Guardiola, he has been employing it since his Barca days, he will always have a team of physically weaker or softer looking players, who will take turns to tactically foul opponents to stop any momentum. And the refs fall for it all over the world.
I mentioned earlier but it got lost with the goal.

It’s aomething the league really needs to crack down on or everyone will adopt it and we’ll turn into the Spanish league. It drove me crazy when Barca did it against us but it’s so effective no team will stop it of their own volition.

Bunch of cnuts, City taking the piss in their own half now, our players doing jackshit, until one of them moves and our entire team is outplayed in 2-3 passes
When you say bunch of cnuts you mean us right? City schooled us that half and we barely whimpered. For all I care they can take all the piss that they want and play their music in the locker room as loud as they want. They deserve to be arrogant. Just like when we were in our heyday.

These so called Man Utd players need to man up and at least put some crunching tackles in, rile them up and just do something. Half of them need to go. I want to say Jose feck off too but not sure this is his fault. Our players are just not good enough.

Our midfield though. Utterly shocking. This is supposed to be our best trio and City are playing with a second string team and we're getting outrun very easily in midfield. Herrera is shocking and Pogba is garbage.

I lost hope in seeing Pogba dominating a big game. He's just not a big games player.
In terms of reputation maybe, in terms of performance Herrera and Pogba haven't been better than McTominay lately.

players to get rid of ASAP, replace them with mannequins and you'd end up getting better results:
Valencia, Young, Smalling, Jones, Mata, Herrera, Shaw, Fellaini

No more sentimentality, no more "ohh but hes good at this" excuses, these players arent good enough to be 1st team players at Man Utd. Compare them to City, Madrid, Munichs squad and you'll see why
Get rid of Jose first he is responsible for the team the selection and team play and setup. Tired of everyone getting blamed except that fool on the sideline. Let’s get real, Sanchez instead of Martial, Rashford and Mata

We can't attack in my opinion because our defence don't provide a solid platform for us to attack. I can't blame Sanchez, Lukaku Lingard and even Pogba because they can't push forward and do their job without exposing our weak defence. It's so obvious to see.

I think my 4-1 is far too generous. it's more likely to be 5-0. do we even know where their goal is?

Of course he should be blamed. He should have done better.

But none of our other options would have stood a chance in hell, so going overboard with that blame (as many have done) is ridiculous.
    That's very poor excuse tbh.

If our defenders can't deal with Kompany in the air, sell them. They're useless then.

At least he tries to pass the ball instead of hoofing it. These 3 I mentioned seems like they see the ball for the first time in their lives. Waste of space.
Hopefully he’ll pass it to red in the second half.

    There is no spoon.
How can you expect passion from a team if the manager shows absolutely no passion. I wonder which players he is going to throw under bus. Sad sad day.
Works both ways, do something to inspire your manager and make him believe, if I was mourinho i'd be fecking miserable watching this shit too.

I hope Mou is throwing pots and pans around the room, because it is needed. Some of this lot don't even look arsed that it is their rivals they are playing and that they win the title if they win. Ridiculous.
I'd be in there telling them that I'll be on the phone to some of their agents after the first half and they have the second half to change my mind.

We have spent over 600mil since SAF left and we seem still none the wiser.
600 million and we still use Smalling, Young, Valencia, Lingard, Herrera. So you suggest we just give up? No matter what manager we have, those players can't compete with what teams like Real Madrid, City or Bayern have.
