If Arsenal had a proper winger they would have scored about 5. Tbh, they don't even have a proper defender.

Remember when Koscielny was widely considered on here as one of the best CBs around. Thought I was going mad, he's always been wank.

If he'd done his job, Atletico would have had a freekick for Welbeck's dive just after he booked him for it. Instead, his lack of interest in flashing his cards after the 10th minute ended up costing them.
That ref was poor!

They must be torn between our game next sunday or all out in Madrid next week. Whoever they choose thats not gonna be good. Hoping for back to back lose now for Arsenal in space of one week.

To be fair every shot was at him, DDG is in another league.
To be fair, it's like saying Messi is in another league compared to Ronaldo.

Those two are the two best goalkeepers in the world for last two seasons. It's not my opinion, it's a fact.

I still don't know how this game finished 1-1
We missed too many chances, its been the pattern in the last few years. I am glad Wenger era is coming to an end, the amount of rubbish players we have is unreal. Today we had noone from the bench who could change the game.

I can not believe that more then 50% of people here wanted Ozil
On a Bosman it would have been a. Good deal but not for the contract he got at arsenal. Our tactics are different to Arsenals and it would have worked with more efficient players up front.

People complaining about Mourinho's football should try being an Arsenal supporter for the last 12 years. I'd have switched to a different sport by now.

That's called having an opinion.

DDG is number one by a mile.

Maybe Arsenal should not have sold Giroud. He would have been very useful today. And maybe Arsenal should have changed few things just to try different things rather than keep doing same thing over 90 mins.

Arsenal are more or less fecked now with this result. :D

Atletico hardly ever concede a goal at home.

Big game errors are Koscielny's speciality.

Criminal defending.

They hardly concede at all, they have only let in 18 goals in La Liga this year. Amazing figure especially when you consider how offensive the league is considered.

What a bunch of bottle jobs. Man up for 80 minutes, opposition manager sent off and home advantage.

Humphrey trying to make out as if the Arsenal fans are staying in the stadium because they're in shock and saddened that it's Wenger's last European home game...

They're waiting for the crowds on the concourses to die down, not in mourning.

Only four of those were at home as well. :(

They dont have anyone who could change things from bench or Iwobi would just add salt in the wound if come in.

If Arsenal had gone down to 10 they would've capitulated. Shows how important defending is. A solid defence will always give you a chance and that's what Atletico did. They managed to keep Arsenal to the 1 goal and I'm sure 1-0 would've been a good result for them in the circumstances. They were protecting the 1-0. To get 1-1 is actually fantastic.

That goal arsenal conceded is criminal. To have an extra man and be beaten from a long ball and then a couple of defensive fck ups just typifies them

I am gutted beyond words, the slither of hope we had is gone.

I am glad Wenger is leaving, sick of these false hopes.
Martin Tyler's commentary when Adams scored the fourth against Everton in 1998 and won the title is especially relevant.

"That sums it all up."

There is just always a mistake in this team.

Yeah and only 4 of those 18 league goals were conceded at home, so it makes sense to highlight their home record!

With Arsenal's away record, I don't leave them much of a chance.

Atletico's home record is quite good, and Arsenal's away record is horrible. Can't see how they will get through this.
