Wonder if Neymar will ever accidentilly dive after a header out of habit. It would be glorious.

I must say that the shit-housery has made the game far more interesting than it would've been had it been played "normally".
It's the only reason we are still watching, otherwise it's a terrible football performance.

Fine, I'll humour you since I don't think you know what you're arguing with me about.

I was responding to a post asking what rule specifies the headbutt has to be forceful for it to be a straight red. I was commenting on the rule and not the Henderson situation. Do you think any slap or headbutt is an automatic red, no matter what? Even if a player moved his hand towards another player at the pace of a turtle and gently touched his cheek with the force of a baby? All I'm saying is the ref can use common sense in those situations, so it isn't as black and white as "slap or no slap".
Touching someone's face isn't a slap. The words headbutt and slap imply a force. Which, quite clearly in this case, it was. When a player flicks his head up with the specific purpose of hitting another player on the chin, there's really no argument. You can see the relief in the Colombians face when the yellow comes out.

Maybe this has been addressed earlier, but isn’t the VAR supposed to help the ref? He’s well lost control of this game.
