Man Utd sleeve sponsor: Kohler

That's a different person. Kohler guy only talked about Kohler.

Someone else called out Dalot 2 hours before he signed and it was not the Kohler guy.

The guy who said Dalot 2 hours before also said before Grant was announced. He also said about Kohler some 10-15 days back but said it will be announced next day, so he is just around 2 weeks early.

That's not the Griezmann guy though. There are two ITKs. One is Kohler and Griezmann the other is Kohler, Dalot and Grant.

Yes. That's what I said. The guy who posted about Kohler month ago got 1 thing correct, this deal.

The guy who posted later got 3/3 correct.

Yeh, the Griezmann thing is obviously bollocks since he's extended. The ITK even said he was '90%' on Griezmann.

Those that think we are finished in the market are wrong, we are still trying to get more players it seems.

Yeah, don't think we are done. Assuming we will sign at least 2 more players.

It's barely noticeable and on the sleeves with just letters, no image or angry bird logos.
It's too noticeable IMO. Takes us a bit too close to those Formula 1 drivers who are covered in all sorts of shit for a few $$

How much we earning from this that's all anyone should really care about

I like the plain white logo's, be great if we could get something similar for the main one next time it comes round as it really gives you free reign with the kit design. Can't Woody get Coca Cola or something onboard next time?

That was the most rational conclusion. He tried to use his knowledge of Kohler to fabricate a transfer rumour. Classic confidence trick.
Or else his contact (who was most likely some marketing employee for Kohler) was stretching on the BS and the Reddit guy fell for it.

Prefer this Kohler

Feck him for daring to block Eric's shot.

So he either used a confidence trick or was tricked by a confidence trick

I think this cheapens our kit and club image. Not worth it.
There's always one

At a time where other Premier League teams are sticking bloody Angry Birds and tyre manufacturers on their sleeves, we manage to bag a deal with an exceptional company with an understated logo and people are still moaning.

We're a long way from this:

There are two reddit people who claim to be ITK:
The first one was called "United_This_Us" and he claimed United were going to have Kohler as their sleeve sponsor and that United had also activated a release clause which he believed was Griezmann.
https://www.reddit.com/r/reddevils/comments/8n9ntp/tad_bit_of_info_that_i_have_held_back_on/

The second one is called "xisimon" and it appears he correctly identified the timing of the Dalot and Grant deals before they were announced, as well as having information about the Kohler deal. He has claimed to have further knowledge about another signing but has yet to reveal anything more:
https://reddit.com/r/reddevils/comments/8vt4ip/update_kohler_announcement_delayed/
Today he suggested we'd be making two more signings before the window is shut but said he couldn't say anything more than that at the risk of being strung up like the Griezmann guy.

Great a sleeve sponsor, I wish Ed would put more effort into trying to get new signings in and ridding of our deadwood, although what we might consider deadwood Jose thinks are star players/signings (Fellaini) so I suppose can't blame him for that one. It just seems Utd are more interested in getting all these sponsorship deals done than seeing to getting the team back to competing at the top level.
It looks like we are slowly but surely starting to turn into Arsenal, Top 4, Champions league qualification, job done.

Yeah, sleeve sponsor on a shirt is like blue hair on Pogba's head. Need to choose where time and effort is being invested. Next you know Jose is having his toenails done and Carrick buying a Fred Perry polo. Disgrace.

Two questions:

  1. How much is this deal worth?
  2. Where's the link to the reddit people are talking about?
If Kohler are the, or even a principal partner then it should be a lot.

Just go on R/reddevils and you should be able to find the stuff about Kohler and Griezmann on the second or third page.

£20m per year. Well done, Woody.

For comparison;
Arsenal £10m per year
Chelsea £8m per year
Liverpool £5m per year
City £7m per year.

This deal was reported ages ago.

Why is everyone acting like the only way we knew about it was from the Reddit ITK??

That guy is not very reliable and that was the only source reporting it.
Also it came out after the reddit guy had posted that Kohler was going to be out sponsor

I have no idea who that is, sorry.

No need to apologise.
Stolen from Wikipedia, sorry.

. He was promoted Group Managing Director and Director of Manchester United PLC on 1 July 2013, assuming control of the club's business operations, after Chief Executive David Gillwas replaced by Executive Vice-Chairman Ed Woodward.[4] Arnold sits on the board of Manchester United Television (MUTV) and Manchester United Merchandising Limited. During his time at the club, he has been instrumental in growing the global appeal of the Manchester United brand, opening commercial offices in Mayfair (London), New York City and Hong Kong.[5][6][7] Arnold has overseen the signing of a number of lucrative sponsorship contracts, including a world record 7-year $600 million (USD) kit sponsor deal with General Motors/Chevrolet (2014), and a $1.3 billion sports equipment deal with Adidas over 10 years (2015), the most valuable in sporting history.[

Very good. That's 5% of 40 year old Sanchez's weekly wages.

Awe thanks ❤ - it looks like Woodward and Arnold share the commercial duties.

Arsenal looking at £30m/year for a sleeve sponsor? Woody missed a trick here.

Logically and legally no way, because sleeve sponsor can't be more than 20% of main sponsorship deal. If you want 30 mil per season your main kit sponsor needs to be 150 mil per season, and no club in the world is at that level yet. Chevrolet deal is the most expensive in world football at 53 mil per year.

Pfft, no way for small club like Arsenal.

Already mentioned that Arsenal deal is 30m over 3 years, so it's 10m a year.
