We were pretty poor first half, criticism saved from the Pereira goal. To be fair Liverpool had a pretty much full side out. Second half we have been abysmal and Liverpool have bought on all there second string players too. Only a friendly after all but it still keeps me of the same opinion about our squad. We have 5 or 6 really good players (some of which are yet to perform) quite a few promisign youngsters who are not ready yet and about 12 really average under peforming or over rated players.
Been slated in many transfer threads with suggested ins and out but I still feel, beginning of this window we needed 6 or 7 signings and at least the same out.
We could do with two centre back signings, another central midfielder, a right winger and a striker that can put pressure on Lukaku to add to what we have. There is promise with the Dalot and Fred signings and the return of Periera but we are still so far short of what we need to compete in Europe and to win the league and the football we have been playing under Mourinho really isnt that much better than LVG, just includes a three better players in the side

Past three games the amount of American fans is far less than it was a few years ago. Remember the amount of fans at the madrid game? Seems that theres so many less fans wanting to watch our game but could be down to ticket prices.
In fairness, it is preseason and id back Mourinho to be able to set up a strong tight unit in a meaningful game.

As good as the back 3 were against Milan, they’ve been a disgrace today. Herrera has put in one of the worst midfield performances (with the preseason caveat) I can recall. Darmian has been playing 2 v 1 on the right side. Just woeful all around. Made the right call not to go.
