What a bloody goal that is. No deflection either.

Newcastle just have so little quality all over the pitch. No one good in wide areas, their striker stranded alone on an island up top, and without Shelvey they have nobody to trouble the big clubs.

Bernardo's end goal is to be moved into the centre I think so it was needed. 4 wingers for 2 positions in Sane, Sterling, B.Silva and Mahrez. Most clubs have that.
But you also have Foden and B. Diaz. So I think your squad would have overall gained more from a CDM signing than a winger signing.

Newcastle have defended quite well to be fair.

This season is going to be tough.
3 points is all that matters. Perform any way you want just get 3 points.

Behind the right goal post as "Whiteside shoots!"
Correct. @BeforeKeanetherewasRobson not a great question tbf. All the great left backs of the game did it eg Evra, Roberto Carlos etc etc. He is already so good attacking-wise, if he wasn’t as lazy and tracked back a bit which is his job anyway, Newcastle would maybe not have scored.

Nice to see though, that there are still a few flaws in this City team. But back to the point, if Shitty want to build on last season and become great, their left back needs to know to defend. At the moment, he’s just a Fantasy Football player.
Aw sorry. I'll think long and hard before I pose another question, hopefully it comes up to scratch. Fingers crossed.

We all love United
Hope City win this. We need more team teams to be ahead of the scousers if we can't be there and it is increasingly looking likely to be that for us even this early

Poor performance today but three points, always hard to break down teams like that but imho only when Bernardo played in the middle alongside the other Silva did we look really like scoring. Mahrez poor, Jesus poorish, Kun was good first half but poor in the 2nd. Disjointed but meh...

They won't win the league this year imo.

Chelsea or Liverpool. I'll go with Chelsea, as they don't have that bottle job mentality Liverpool have.

City winning with minimum effort, Pool and Chelsea with perfect records. This is pretty much a nightmare.
