We really are not good enough.
That's the bottom line.

Special mention to Valencia, Lukaku, Sanchez and Mata. 1/10 performances.

Did Valencia even cross it once? Every fecking time, take a touch, come inside and pass back. Criminal. Coward.

Wolves are a lot better than a lot of people were expecting, but we barely had any good chances, that's the worry.

Pogba has to do so much on his own, he's a bit wasted for us.
Front 3 barely did anything. Sanchez worryingly off again.

A goal up v Wolves at home and fail to win. It’s unacceptable.

League is gone already isn’t it?

There’s just no intensity at the end of a game, to gets the points we desperately need, and those offsides are absolutely infuriating. Quite an unprofessional performance that.
League is long gone unfortunately

He has to ultimately take the blame. Shocking 'attacking' play in the second half.
I guess it all stops with him. But offensively we are poor as the individuals are not of the quality of our rivals I think.

Would be nice if just one of our attacking players could not look like they're drunk. It's hard to win games when you know as soon as any of them get it they're just going to lose the ball.

Also I don't want to bring up Pogba again but their goal was utterly pathetic on his part. He is never going to learn and because oof that he'll always be a liability as much as an asset.

As far as Jose is concerned. I don't subscribe to half of what people criticise him for, but we are STILL using Fellaini hoofball tactics to try and win games, 5 years after it was obvious this does not work (and it fact it was obvious before that due to the fact only rubbish teams use tactics like this). Continuing to play Lindelof is also baffling when it's so clear he isn't good enough and there are other options.

Apart from the obvious joke that it was well earned draw against a fellow mid-table rival, I thought we played alright. We shouldn't have taken Fred off as he was breaking their attacks up quite well - after he went off they had a strong 15 minute period. Lukaku should have been replaced, although I'm tempted to think we also need to stop relying on him as the only focal point of out attack. He has it in him to really stink up the place.

Sanchez was dog shite as usual. I'm coming round to the view that we should probably fire him out of a canon into the sun, dogs included. Lingard hasn't played a good game since the World Cup. Mata was invisible for the most part. Martial looked good. Everybody else played fine, especially Fellaini, Shaw and Pogba.

Manchester Utd never lose, just run out of time
I only saw the last 35 minutes (soon after they scored). Lukaku was atrocious, Lingard and Alexis were poor in the small amount of time I saw them, and then Mata was invisible when he came on. Pogba was fantastic and Shaw not far behind him, the others all decent to fairly good.

Won't get a chance to watch the rest of the match until tomorrow, but from the comments it sounds like we were fairly average again and didn't really get going until after they equalised.

Disappointing result but not a terrible performance. Wolves were decent. If there’s any positives to take at least pogba and shaw played very well again.

fecking starting to hate this set of players.

Whats the fecking point of playing Mata and Pereira and then hoofing the ball for the last 30 minutes??!

And feck off with the Pogba shit.
He's fecking clueless. He gives nothing to the team. He doesnt improve the players around him. Yes, great loooong balls to switch sides. And?? Put fecking VDS on his place and he'll do the same.

And feck off with Fellaini too. Couldnt string a pass if his life is depending on it.

Crap crap crap. Useless. Sorry state of a team.

Really wish we could have given SAF a better welcome back than that :( he looked so grim when the cameras cut to him near the end.

What the feck was the point in changing Fellaini's role in the second half by the way? Why change him from #6 to #8/#10 all of sudden?

Lukaku is one of those kind of players that you "have to build your team around" in order to get something out of him. He can't slot into multi-approached roles. Every other player has to play for Lukaku, to get the ball out and cross, cross, cross. You have to forsake any play between lines and fluid running because he's just so static.

Wow 8 points behind already is impressively bad. And Liverpool of all teams. Ugh. We're looking quite poor at home. It's concerning. Not enough urgency in the play, which is a common theme against the smaller sides.

Lukaku needs to have a good hard look at himself.

Pogba immature as usual.

Fellaini very good, defense in general was good.

Martial lively, that was good to see.
Can't blame Lukaku, who was isolated whole game. He only got 1 service in 2nd half but offside.

Most frustration was on Sanchez and Lingard. They were rested for a week, but was most ineffective.

Not great, but thought most of the side were at least ok. Fred was outstanding in the first half, and Pogba had a decent game . De Gea was his usual quality self.

But, Sanchez was anonymous yet again, and Lukaku was absolutely, shockingly, dire. I mean, I honestly think we'd have done better with 10 men today than with Lukaku in that form. And I like Lukaku normally - he can be a bit limited but he's got real strengths. But today, he was just beyond useless. I'd rather see Fellaini up front than that kind of rubbish

Lukaku does more of his talking outside the pitch than on the pitch.
This. Needs a spell on the bench. This untouchable status is not doing him any good.

I got pelters when I said we are mediocre side when everyone was raving about the win against Real sorry Watford. ...

This side is the shits, and with Mourinho at the helm it will be another wasted season.

The board need to sack Mourinho and then boot out Lingard, Valencia,Bailly, Sanchez, Mata, Herrera, Rashford, Fellaini, Martial in fact the only half decent player we have is DDG.

Probably Lukaku's worst game in a Utd shirt, not that we created many chances for him.

Sanchez, well, where to begin really? It's weird, he could never play for us again and I don't think I'd care or we'd miss him.
Another Falcao, Schweinsteiger or Di Maria. A name which was bought on brand alone.

Also see Blanc, Veron, Barthez

Not good enough. We're worryingly poor going forward and not particularly tight at the back.

If we're honest the title is completely out of the question and fourth will be very difficult.
The sad truth.
It's all out for 4th this season, and hope for better in the cups.

7 points off (probably) 3 teams come tomorrow, after a mere 6 games? Dropping 7 points, having not played any of the likely top 3, or faced a difficult team away? Pretty worrying.

We keep dropping bullshit points far too easily.

We made it easy for Wolves to get back into the game when we should've buried them, and to be fair a point was probably the right result.

We saw the best and worst of Pogba, and as elegant as he was to set up the goal he was equally as culpable for the equaliser. A team like Liverpool would have a field day pressing him out of possession.

Lukaku: the less said, the better. Completely anonymous - he is far too easy to mark out of games. He just doesn't have the required quality or consistency to play for us. We definitely need to upgrade. The same with Sanchez - complete and utter flop. Lindelof has the defensive ability of a wet paper bag.

Fellaini and DDG were the best of a bad bunch. Fred faded after the break.

We've got to accept the reality: we'll be struggling to finish fourth this season - a title is out of the question.

High time Jose drops Sanchez and Lukaku.. they have been abysmal this season. Martial and Rashford deserves a start after this debacle by our so called best forwards. Honestly i would rather have Hesky or even Zammora than Lukaku right now, the guy is just too dumb.

I could tell the way the Wolves management celebrated that they knew it would be unlikely we'd fashion another goal. We just don't score enough.

Pogba set one up and I think is guilty of being too casual in the lead up to the Wolves goal, completely the wrong time to fanny about.

Saying that Pogba played well overall and he's unfortunate that Lukaku, Sanchez, Valencia and Lingard around him were total shite today again. So many moves break down with these shit performing players. Pogba's silky skills seem a waste here at OT.

Instead of giving up on this season, I would get rid of Mourinho and get somebody else in. Clearly he is done.
