Playing devil's advocate, some are just saying he is part of the problem rather than the sole problem. There are a number of things wrong with the club.
Agreed but he's the most fixable one. So why don't we just start there?

It's like history getting rewritten. Mourinho can be shite without making the managers before him any good.

LVG slagged his players off several times, here's one of them :

This is the game he put Ashley Young as a striker.
There’s a difference between saying we need new players, and criticising them personally and publically by name.

LVG was right we did need more speed and creativity, we had young and mata on the wings.

Never threw our own players under the bus though.

I’m 1000% sure that we’ve got more problems than just the manager, I don’t think that’s even a debate.

You can’t excuse results like today though. The games against West Ham, Brighton, Derby, Valencia, Wolves etc just kill you. It’s not just the results, it’s the performances. There’s a large portion of this squad who shouldn’t be at this football club if you want to win trophies. I’d say that’s non negotiable. But, I also think we’re capable of producing a hell of a lot better than that against these sort of teams.

Sometimes you just need a change, it might not even be the right decision footballing wise but sometimes you just need a fresh voice and a different way of looking at things. I’ve experienced these situations in a different sport where everyone is almost trying too hard and there’s just too much tension and anxiety there. Generally, when it gets like that for a long period of time, there has to be a change somewhere.

Man, he needs more backing. Crystal Palace had a £75m striker, £36m and £37m wingers, £89m and £40m midfielders on the pitch today. How do you expect him to compete when Palace bought 10 experienced defenders in the summer and had a £52m midfielder on the bench? Mourinho deserves a pass today.
Do you question our players at any point?

Because anybody watching that game today who has no ill feeling towards the players is just odd.

Just put Nicky Butt in charge for the rest of the season (while working on a replacement). We won't get top four anyway.

Least we might have some mild curiosity to tune in each week.

I would love this to happen, but from the boards point of view why sack him now for far more money than they'll have to if he can't reach top 4? Our club is all about money nowadays!

Jose Mourinho is still the best manager in the world for me and he must dedicate his life to our club. Anyone who want him out should take a long hard look at themselves.

I’m not really sure? You Bayern guys are unhappy and you’re still doing “ok”. Were negative
Hoeneß already said something like: "we will think about the coaching situation over the weekend."
You know basically just like every top club acts.

Why not offer it to him on a short term deal. Once in a lifetime opportunity, take over now and see how he does until next summer. It's high risk but huge reward for him.

Things can't really get much worse because it doesn't matter if we finish 6th or 10th or 14th, we aren't getting top 4 and we aren't trying to play better football. What we have now, this is it for the season if we stick with Mou.

It would be the same level of stupidity that led to us offering the job to Moyes

I can't understand why some match going fans are defending this dross? Is drawing at home and lucky to escape with a draw to Crystal Palace not acceptable to match going fans?

Yep, and Lukaku is also the best striker in the world like Matic is the best DM in the world. Both players are vastly important to our team and we should sell the likes of Martial Pogba Rashford to keep them and Mourinho at the club.

We are supposed to be more attacking this season, but we are (-) on GD. How does Mourinho explain that? But then again he doesn't look at stats, so go figure.

Funniest thing is that Palace were still going for it right up until the end albeit they were fairly wanked. I mean they probably came away from OT not overly happy with a point. That really says a-lot.
Mourinho said they fought for a point and got what they wanted.

So we finally had some attacking play when Sanchez was playing up top and this **** of a manager decides to bring Lukaku back in for no reason whatsoever. He can't see the glaring obvious things and his only attacking philosophy is hoofing the ball to Lukaku and Fellaini.

How can you openly admit all of Jose's signings are shit and then continue to defend him and imply he is blameless?
Because Jose had to "make do" since no one else wanted to join and/or the board was penny pinching.

Anyone out there still Jose-In?
Weirdly I’ve kind of come around to he sort of has to stay to the end of the season unless we are giving it to Carrick or something. I want him gone no matter what, even if he some how wins the champions league this season, he just has to go, but if we sack him now i’m Not keen on the replacements available and right now there is only 1 man for me for this job and it’s Pochettino and he ain’t leaving Spurs mid season.

Sat there at OT thinking pretty much the same, back to lumping the ball again....
