It feels like our crap form is starting to get infectious :(

I dread to think what will happen against Liverpool :nervous:

I saw some saying Bailly was the MOTM in the matchday thread?! He's a walking disaster, I trust Jones over him. Our defenders have a lot of blood and thunder, but they're quite simply not very good.
Yes. Jones is a disaster waiting to happen and i'd happily take Jones over Bailly.

Dig up stupid!
Was entertaining at least, probably the most fun of the season.

We at least matched arsenal for effort, probably the only time we've done that to an opponent all season and it certainly had a positive effect

The quality was still off though, especially when our 2 marquee signings came on which tells a story. Mou should've had the courage of his convictions and kept them on the bench.

feck knows what mcmanaman was on giving Matic motm once again he was the biggest culprit in continually playing the ball backwards, it was infuriating

Its really weird shit, game ended 2:2 and watching us play tonight, there wasnt a single moment where i was like "damn this is football" when it comes to attacking, period after Lukaku got in wont even mention, it was like watching something paralyzed.

Oh, and can we stop calling for Dalot to start now on the basis of nothing? He's clearly a work in (slow) progress. Darmian was very dependable, though.
Work in progress? Looked like another £20m waste of money tonight. I know it’s early days but for me we needed an immediate improvement in that position, how long until he’s up to scratch? It could be years.

Pogba and Lukaku looked pointless when they came on and need to stay out of this team
Rojo is an entertaining player for sure

If we could defend we would be half decent.

PS) McTominay playing in defence ahead of Tojo makes sense to me now!

Utter rubbish, intensity for a time but never looked like we could win, Arsenal did though.
We looked worse when Pogba and Lukaku came on, we are in deep deep shite.Surely if we don't beat Fulham on Saturday he has to go?
Draw against Fulham and a shellacking by Liverpool.

Martial did one aggressive sprint that other players do all the time from other teams and got injured.

Our players aren't fit enough in my opinion.

Manager should be bringing on Fred with 20mins to go, let Herrera and Matic sit, with Freds energy to press the tired Arsenal back 4. Fellaini slows the game down and literally does nothing for our midfield.

Well, that was sort of what I was getting at. Bit early to write off a youth player, though, don't you think?

Well we didn’t lose?

Thought Herrera was good, Bailly too. Rashford put a lot of effort in.

Smalling quietly effective.

Darmian may have had his best game for us.

Dalot did well at points but struggled with the pace of the game I feel.

Well that was embarrassing for the Premier League. Two of the biggest teams in the land and they serve up that shite?! So little quality. So many mistakes. Awful, awful stuff.

Goes without saying United were the worse of the two teams. We always are these days. Standard.

The impression i get from watching United is a group of very good players individually, but shambolic as a team.

Arsenal should have won this game

Strange formation but for the first time this season we started with a team who were actually bothered about winning and actually moved off the ball.

We benched a few of the lamp posts in Fellaini, Pogba and Lukaku; preferring instead the likes of Herrera, Lingard and Rashford. We looked much, much better because of this.

However instead of Mata for Martial, we sent on Lukaku who as has been the case all season essentially reduced us to 10 men. Add in Pogba (plus Fellaini) for Lingard and we issued a written invitation for their midfield to waltz at our defence.

On a positive note Martial and Matic looked far, far better with movement and pace around them. Martial must have run more today than ever before and Herrera/Lingard allowed Matic an out ball.

I've no doubt the lamp posts will be back at the weekend sadly.

Absolute shambles. We are soooo bad that it’s unbelievable & the some of the play at times was hilariously comical. Laughing stock of English football keeps rolling on.

Nothing to shout about, shit goals from both teams & shit non quality performance from both sides. Good in bits but dreadful for most of the game. Our subs couldn’t do nothing either...what’s the point.

Nothings going to change & I cannot see any positives from anything with the whole set up. Probably the worst season post SAF.

Anyone who thinks that match represented progress is deluded.

The phrase headless chickens comes to mind and for some reason that erratic style was matched by Arsenal .

We were dogshit. Seriously bad. In no way, shape or form did that performance resemble anything you'd expect to see from an elite club in an elite league.

Do we train anything during the week? I’ve asked myself this so many times this season. We can’t defend, keep the ball or attack with any sign of cohesion. With every defensive block, we just hoof the ball up the pitch only to lose it in a matter of seconds. There was one particular passing sequence where Pogba and our two central defenders played short passes to each other and then one of them just proceeded to hoof the ball forwards. I mean what’s the point of it all? I think it’s clear as day that Mourinho’s time as a manager is up. We can blame the quality of the players but we’re not even attempting to play football at the moment, and that’s down to the manager.

If both teams could have got the basics of defending right it would have been a very dull nil nil.
Plenty of huffing an a puffing but very little quality anywhere on the park.

. Both teams made defensive errors . What did we create going forward in that 2nd half? Apart from one situation Dalot got free after being played by Rashford I didn't see anything

Was pissed when we made it 2-2 because in the 69th minute it was apparent that for the next 20+ we'd do nothing and tbh after we made it 2-2 we could have conceded a few more. Scrappy. Mistakes all over. Entertaining but I don't think Arsenal were that great and they could have had 3 or 4.
