Yet again it's not good enough but to someone as clueless about football as Woodward is it will seem like a decent result and will unfortunately keep the broken one in the job that bit longer.

I'm so conflicted. We played better than I expected we would. We showed a lot of fight and we were very scrappy. The momentum of the game helped us (injuries for Arsenal, time of our goals).

On the other hand, we really were hanging on toward the end of the game and looked like we were dying to see the game finish at 2-2 whereas Arsenal were still trying.

Herrera was immense. I thought Rojo had a weird game. He was very good at times but then he cost us the goal and he had that ridiculous tackle in the first half that could've been a red card.

It was chaotic, fun, and exciting at least.

We hung on for a draw in the end - Arsenal looked far more likely to win it. Hoofing it at every opportunity is getting really old now.

This is the worst possible result, honestly: the point is pretty much worthless at this stage but at the same time it doesn't push Mourinho closer to the edge because it looks a credible enough result.

At least the game was entertaining though, in all its low-quality glory. Schoolboy errors and mad challenges from both sides.

Decent energy and some entertainment.

But we are still a bloody mess. The number of mistakes we make all over the pitch is depressing.

If we could defend we would be half decent.

PS) McTominay playing in defence ahead of Tojo makes sense to me now!
If we could create on the ground we'd be half decent too.

It perfectly sums up the state of this club right now when 'at least we tried!' Is a valid positive to take from the evening.

Mid-table, negative goal difference, 4 without a win, no set playing strategy, no idea of our best XI. Worst of all, the club seem to be okay with the situation.

A laughing stock

Great game from a neutral POV. But, that was shambles. Utter shambles. We were lucky to score both equalisers. First one was an offside but Rojo, Herrera & Martial did well for it. The second goal was jammy as they come.

As usual though, the result will paper over the cracks.

Should have brought on Mata instead of Fellaini . We already had Lukaku for the hoofball . We needed a passer to help Dalot on the right side who had acres of space in the 2nd half but nobody to support him . Herrera had to keep running from midfield to help Dalot in attack . That was a missed opportunity along with nobody pressing on the left side either so we missed Shaw today . All the hoofball in the late 2nd half really spoiled the mood . If we only Mata had come on in the 2nd half then we could have pulled some strings and scored a proper goal .

Arsenal are poor at the back and in truth all 4 goals in the game came from bad defending or flukeage. The performance was like the one vs Spurs where we showed more energy which masked the fact we were still clueless as an attacking unit. Arsenal were easily the better side in the second half and De Gea saved our bacon with 3 very good saves.

Three points from nine, he should be sacked tomorrow, this is more torturous than under LvG, win, lose or draw the misery remains.

Phew! I quite enjoyed that. Poor quality, chaotic football does tend to be fun. Nothing result really. As you were. Pogba justified his non selection when he came in. Those that played did so with heart. We didn't take a step forward tonight, but at least we didn't take any backwards either. On to the next...

Comedy show. Thats all there is to it. Any positives? When you consider how far we are off top 4, only 3 points will ever be enough now. Bleak times ahead

The starting 11 tried hard. Not so sure about the substitutes. If anything, we were worse after the changes.

Rojo decent apart from gifting them their 2nd goal. Bailly one awful error, and guilty of passing the ball back too often, otherwise reasonably good. Darmian played pretty well although did let the ball slip under his foot rather carelessly. Dalot looked out of his depth.

De Gea horrible error. One good save in the 2nd half. Herrera not bad, assist for our first goal, another with a dreadful pass backwards that went straight to one of their attackers. Lingard poor yet scored. Martial didn't do much apart from score.

Phew..

That was entertaining in car crash kind of way. A veritable comedy or errors.

Neither team deserved to lose. Both a shambles at the back.

we were so meh. Lucky they're pants at the back. We did seem to give a shit though, which was nice not having the dab merchant and trampoline foot starting.

Not really good enough, especially in context, but 2-2 against Arsenal does not look bad on paper so Mourinho is safe at least till the Liverpool game.

Also Arsenal are a bit shit at the back.

It was literally like a championship game, fun to watch if you're not a supporter of either team.
We dragged Arsenal down to our level. Stopped them from playing football and disrupted their game which was working actually until the subs were made and we switched to hoofball. Their midfield started getting on the ball towards the end. The only way we were going to get something was to make it scrappy.
Mkhi had glorious chance and DDG had to save us again from Aubameyang shot

Pogba and Lukaku did literally nothing. 0 impact and made whole team even worse.

Well that was embarrassing for the Premier League. Two of the biggest teams in the land and they serve up that shite?! So little quality. So many mistakes. Awful, awful stuff.

Goes without saying United were the worse of the two teams. We always are these days. Standard.
Well it was fun to watch, in a 'who will feck up how bad next' kind of way.

Mistakes again rojo WTF, some of the clearances omg our defence can't even kick a ball away properly, very shaky at the back.

It was madness quite chaotic.

Next PL Fixtures

8/12 - Fulham at home
16/12 - Liverpool away
22/12 - Cardiff away

These 3 are crucial i'm hoping 7pts from these games Liverpool away is scary we could get smashed 4 or 5.

Dreading that one.

Four crap goals to be fair.

But the Auba/Mikhi chance has to be a goal and the 2:2 from kick off was a pure gift. Should have won it and we weren't that good today.

Despite our football we have a good goals for tally. But we've become a team that needs three goals to beat teams. It's poor considering we have De Gea in net.

A comedy of errors. We are pretty awful at the back. Rojo was rusty but he did play well for the most part and I suppose that will be overshadowed by that horrendous pass that preceded their second. But, for a make-do-and-mend team, it wasn't too bad.
