what if he performed badly due to racism? I reckon if he moved to Turkey he would be the best player in the world
They are missing the mark, Ozil never said racism exists within the national team, he said it's within the nation (and DFB, based on the actions of the chief) itself in how different they treat 2nd generation German nationals compared to those whose heritage is from Germany. I don't think he is wrong there, though it can be said for many nations, not just Germany. While it's easy to ridicule "white men says no racism occured", Ozil's actions speak for themselves. If Toni Kroos had posed with Erdogan, he would have been hounded by the press, and rightly so. I still can't get my head around what Ozil did. Here is a man, born in Germany, and he goes and aligns himself with someone who equates modern day Germany - the most liberal and refugee-welcoming country in Europe - by its Nazi history.
Lets wait till he puts in a performance.Doesn't he have a performance thread?
Has he not then?Should retire from club football too.
Probably need to put in a performance for that.Doesn't he have a performance thread?
Sorry, just saw this, multiple tabs open only to pop up 10 minutes late with a worse version of your post.Lets wait till he puts in a performance.
Özil went to Arsenal because he didn't want to be pushed.I'l forever hate Arsenal for what they turned him into. At 24 he was probably the best playmaker in the world and now he's nowhere near that level. He should've stayed at Madrid and waited for a move to a bigger club with bigger ambitions to push him.
It happens. Great minds think alike (or spot obvious jokes!).Sorry, just saw this, multiple tabs open only to pop up 10 minutes late with a worse version of your post.
Why would you hate Arsenal? It's Ozil himself who just doesn't give a damn anymore.I'l forever hate Arsenal for what they turned him into. I don't think it only has to do with Ozil. Arsenal as a team have been in decline since he joined and he didn't have the personal around him to succeed as well, he had to deal with Giroud as a striker for most of his time there, even then he broke the record for quickest to 50 assists in the league so his performances haven't been that poor. Why would you hate Arsenal? Maybe if he wasn't a lazy unambitious shit he wouldn't have moved to Arsenal in the first place.I don't think it only has to do with Ozil. Ozil does need a manager to push him, and Wenger certainly wasn't that. His softness went to Ozil who continued to play at his languid level and not push himself to be better like he was at Madrid, and Germany during the past 5 years.
Is he even allowed to change national team now, if he choose to play for the Turkey national football team. Don't think FIFA allows. Such a shame as he's one of Die Mannschaft very few world-class players now and he can still contribute a few more years at the highest level.what if he performed badly due to racism? Shame? Özil ist the epitome of a good weather player. If things go well for the team, he is indeed world class. The moment things get rough he is barely on the pitch. An outstanding team doesn't need players who just "win-more" on good days, but players who perform on bad days.Is he even allowed to change national team now, if he choose to play for the Turkey national football team. It isnt allowed. Once you play a competitive game, it is over usually. Özil has close to a 100 games for Germany. Is he even allowed to change national team now, if he choose to play for the Turkey national football team. Don't think FIFA allows. There were serious rumours that we were in for him when he was still at Bremen. After the 2010 WC, those rumours intensified but we all know what happened. I think we showed interest when he was leaving Real but not enough to tempt him.Maybe if he wasn't a lazy unambitious shit he wouldn't have moved to Arsenal in the first place.
It's his back apparently.I'm out of the loop here but why is he not playing? Is he out injured or is he getting the Fred treatment?
good point.Missing a spine, is he?
(Sorry)
