One of the biggest mistakes the club has ever made, getting rid of Mourinho. It was the players, it was always the players. Now, nobody good will come and manage this joke of a club. What a sad day for football fans of Manchester United.
Did the players deliberately refuse to score a counter-attacking goal when the other 19 teams in the league have done?

Did the players deliberately refuse to have more touches of the ball in the final third as the other teams in the league have?

Did the players choose to be so negative in approaching games and look bereft of ideas?

Did the players instruct him to talk about Porto and Inter while also telling them how Salah, Wignaldum, Fabinho and co are great physical players?

Are the players responsible for our current league position?

Excuses, excuses, excuses!!! Mourinho loves excuses.

Out team is not it perfect but certainly better than the dogshit Mourinho has served up for the last 2 years. Get excited man!! Happy days ahead. We are not regretting Zilch.

Didn't a lot of people put a punt on this?
I think the mass majority thought that he would be gone once CL qualification became impossible, so later in the season. I was in that camp and it seemed like a lot of other people were too.

De Brun was adamant that he would gone much sooner because of how terrible his relationship was with the players and Woodward.

I am bittersweet about this. I was always a Jose fan, and really hoped he'd bring us back to the top.

Sad to see it end this way, but it is for the best I think.

I'd like to see Ed go next.

Because it'd cost a fortune just to get him out of his Spurs deal.
It wouldn't. I've said this again and again, if your manager decides to leave there's nothing you can do as a club.

If he wants to come all he has to do is make enough of a fuss about it at Spurs.

I'm not sure. We've basically replicated his third season at Chelsea, when he had Faria alongside him.

I'd struggle to think of anything to be grateful to him for. He's been such a bloody toxic presence.
Ignoring the awful results and the even more awful performances.

The thing i'm most relieved about is not having to watch his miserable face on the touchline or in interviews. From day one he's looked utterly depressed to be here.

Thanks for the two trophies. Despite our recent form and the terrible football, it is still more than Arsenal, Liverpool and Spurs have managed in the same period.

Fhanks for the 1st season Josd. He should have taken happy pills and I really hope he will be mentally okay. No excuses now dlfrom the big stars, they need to start performing.

Are you actually using their temporary stint at Wembley as a factor?
You know they're building a brand new stadium as well?

I genuinely think our fanbase has gone delusional if they think Pochettino is a realistic option at this point, or in the summer for that matter. I just can't see from his perspective why he would make the move, unless there's massive bad blood between him and Levi or something.

He’s a young manager his stock is going nowhere fast unless his performances drop at Tottenham, this is his best start with us since he started.
Football changes very quickly, you would have to be foolish to think otherwise. He doesn't have a guaranteed trajectory. Let's remember he's never even won anything.

Thanks for nothing, the club is in a terrible state due to him. He can take his poison off to another club now.

I hope the club does things properly. We should get the ship in order with a DoF over the next few months, a well thought out managerial appointment that will be progressive and a clear list of top young transfer targets for the summer etc.

I'm not bitter towards him this time last year he seemed to be moving us in the right direction. But we've fell off a cliff this year, i think he must have some sort of personality disorder. Every club he manages it's the 3rd year he starts falling out with his players and fighting with the board. Its weird you think given how many times it's happened to him now you'd think he would be self aware enough to keep his head down and concentrate on the job. But it seems 2 years is his limit in any one place before he has a meltdown.

But he had to go either now or in the summer, he'd taken this team as far as he could and was dragging them down. Thanks for the 2 trophies and good luck to him.
