I'm saying, that turning around a club in crisis is a different skill set than throwing in a manager we think will win us trophies next season. You need someone with experience to guide you out of stormy waters, not someone who's never been in this position before.Putting aside whether Pochetino is the right manager, you're saying we shouldn't get a new manager until the club has turned itself around?
FoolThis must be a joke.
It was a bad one but most came out intact. I don't ever remember this place being quite as toxic as it had become. The bloody civil war of 2018. Many were lost during the War but we survived it.
FOOLI think so, but it's an unpopular opinion to have currently.
I’d take Baker Mayfield to Old Trafford. That boy’s a winner. You forgot the NFL
Day one aside, he's been fecking unbearably negative since the beginning of pre-season this summer. So why would anyone be surprised when he gets sacked after his team play unbearably negative football?Ignoring the awful results and the even more awful performances.
The thing i'm most relieved about is not having to watch his miserable face on the touchline or in interviews. From day one he's looked utterly depressed to be here.
Don't know. I am just feeling very bad for him. But happy for the club! Atleast that's what I wanted but this feels very strange.Because he did his best to make our lives absolutely miserable, constantly spouting shite in the process.
He'd be in breach of his contract and we'd have induced it.It wouldn't. I've said this again and again, if your manager decides to leave there's nothing you can do as a club.
If he wants to come all he has to do is make enough of a fuss about it at Spurs.
I tuned out Moyes, I'll tune out Mourinho. He's going to talk a lot of shit about the club in coming months. Much more than Moyes or Van Gaal ever did. But good riddance, whatever comes next it will be better than this.
Stay respectful.FOOL
It’s probably between Solskjaer, Blanc and Queiroz.Blanc seems like a good bet if the candidate is one with existing links to the club.
In fact, he's probably the only candidate.
He will get a big club again Madrid Milan or the likeRight decision by the United hierarchy. No big club will touch Mourinho now, maybe international football is his next gig.
Let's just hope Woody doesn't read your postsDanny Mills reading my posts.. he just suggested on Sky Sports Gareth Southgate for the same reasons... he can build the club.
We will regret not sacking him sooner, aye..We will regret this.
So you keep saying, but actually that's not accurate.Utd in crisis have won more in 3 years than spurs have in 30 years!
I am fully aware that now is the time for other teams to laugh - but let's remember you are a supporter of a team that has no history of winning anything in your lifetime, so to gloat is preposterous!
Going forward yes. But this season is already screwed, so better to take some time and make the right appointment rather than just going for the first available big name manager.oh you do need a big name manager, trust me. i would choose poch over zidane, though.
God no.Gaz ?
Unless they really scrape the barrel and have Hughes or Bruce take over.Blanc seems like a good bet if the candidate is one with existing links to the club.
In fact, he's probably the only candidate.
Feck it give it to Cantona. We could all do with some cheering up.Tweet

He can’t wait to get his big red pencil back out.Gaz ?
As opposed to the complete opposite - not pleasing the fans week in week out?Absolute madness.. We've turned into a fan-pleasing circus which doesn't stick by it's own decisions but knees to this modern hype ..
What?Fool
Yeah no.Yeah he should have been sacked after Sevilla. At one of the elite clubs he would have been sacked after that.
Such an underappreciated commentI feel bad for the Lowry Hotel.
This is true, but unemployment is not the same to him as it is to us. Losing your job in the real world can be crippling financially and really ruin you. Jose walks away with a £24m payout.I mean it had to be done, but celebrating the day someone loses his job seems a tad classless. On the other hand the forum mourns when an opposition gets injured. Onwards and upwards, i guess. Looking forward to seeing more and a better version of Pogba.
