Is it just me feeling this excitement? Feels like a cup final!

I literally keep checking time and date for this match to happen. Can't wait to see our lads tested by the "mighty" Tottenham.
    Certainly not just you mate.
I believe that the outcome of this match could well shape the rest of our season.

Loose and it will be extremely difficult to achieve a top 4 finish.

Win and it could mean that we have a fantastic opportunity to make a CL place.
If we can beat Tottenham then no reason why we cannot give PSG a good go.

I am apprehensive though but underneath slightly confident especially if we attack them hard.

Go on, but you just can't help yourself.
    Why do people do this.
As someone learning his 4th language, I know I appreciate all the help I can get from native speakers of a language. She sounds like someone who isn't native so I offered some help. Why people can't mind their own and just have to display their inability to scroll by, I really don't know.

Wish this 'big test' came at our ground, but I'm hopeful of a win nevertheless, we will go at them right from the start, it's almost certain. I just hope we have a good plan for our defence as well, Jones did have some really solid games here and there against good opposition didn't he?

Is it not more reasonable for you to not tell people if they're native English speakers or not based on typos than her coming out to explain her blasphemous "loose" error

Does we know what the Spurs line up is likely to be? If Winks and Sissoko play as suggested then we've got a great chance of winning.

Lose here and I fear top 4 becomes beyond us.

Isn't this great? I'm so looking forward to the game even though I think we will get beat.
This time last month, it was all misery .
I really can't see how we will get beat. We have a momentum and I think the boys will be up to show that the last few games have not been flukes. Even if we lose, I think it will be a respectable loss. But I don't think we will.

Don't really mind if we lose as long as we keep playing the way we have been. But it's a hard game to call, feels like any number of outcomes is possible.

I have the same feeling as they are on the up right now. I don't trust Jones and Lindelof against their attack. However, my optimistic side sees this ending 2-2

I don't get all the pessimism regarding Spurs. Yeah they may play some pretty football, but it's fecking Spurs.

Dying to see how we approach this game.
Hoping that we go out and attack them and show we can take on top teams and be successful at it

I think this will come as a wake up call. Solskjær has done a great job revitalising the belief around the club, and has the team playing foot forward, cohesive football for the first time in a long time. But the defensive frailties are too vast to make up in such a short space of time, and without upgrades to personnel. Spurs are too well drilled, stable and polished for us right now. Given another 6 months and a new season, Ole might be on to something. But I think it’s too much to expect much from this game.

If we go into it with a positive attitude, and try and play football the right way, battling hard along with it; I think we are moving in the right direction. There’s is always the chance of a good result under those circumstances, but Spurs have to be heavy favourites for this fixture. I am merely adjusting my expectations to fit reality and be fair to the new management. If we lose this game - other than by an absolute tonking - I don’t want people over reacting and saying Ole isn’t up to the job. We have to temper our expectations. I have already enjoyed these last few weeks, more than anything I enjoyed in Jose’s 2.5 years.

I agree. We must approach this game positively.

Spurs are a terrific side, with a settled squad, and settled way of playing... we are still coming out of a very bad period for the team, the club in fact, so we have to acknowledge this. I just wonder whether the limitations of some of our players may be highlighted. Let's hope they step up and even excel? Lukaku, Mata, Martial, Sanchez (if fit...) Lindgard... these guys owe the club some big, big performances against big teams. Maybe tomorrow?

But we have to be positive and enjoy these types of challenges once more.

Agree on most things, but at the same time it means that we are entering a really good period or that we are already there. I have a strong feeling that it will continue tomorrow and that the team will make a work effort that exceeds any weaknesses. We win!

We're not going to lose, since we've been cut loose from Jose's shackles, but were he still in charge... They're going to get their comeuppance when we go down there to London. You're welcome to your own opinions, though.

English must be a bitch to learn.

Gonna bet now Herrera MOTM unless Pogba is unplayable. Big man Andre always performs.

Control the midfield and we'll win I think. It'll come down to who scores more (logic..) because neither team will keep a clean sheet.

Hoping for a magnificent attacking display from both teams.

Not sure whether we are quite there yet, and I imagine Solksjaer has learned a lot in the last week or so. The really good thing, is the fact that the likes of Solksjaer, Phelan and Carrick know the standards expected by the club, and will understand why this is an important game for Manchester United. It's a game we all wish to see, all footie fans really, because it could highlight so very much about the state of the Premiership. A genuinely improving and competitive Manchester United, changes the dynamic of the Premiership.

Kane, Ali, Son... and to a slightly lesser extent Erikksen.. these guys are quality, influential, clinical. However, the Spurs midfield, I think we can dominate, IF the three play well, and give them something to think about. Rashford, I simply look forward to, because his attitude and approach is infectious, and he makes things happen. He keeps going, trying, and I love that. It is whoever play alongside him, that's where I feel (and fear a bit...) that the differences in the sides may be highlighted.

If Pogs has a colossus of a game, then that's something else entirely, but we can't place all on him. We need 11, probably 13 in fact, players to turn up and perform and push for 90++ mins. We get that, then I am happy, regardless of the result.

I think the players' physical status can be to our advantage. After the recent matches and camp in Dubai, I get the feeling that our players have improved their form further, it's increasing.

Spurs lost to Wolfs and have just played a tough match against Chelsea, they may be heading down. So if nothing else, I think the level of the whole team's work effort can give us a victory tomorrow.

I don't think I'll be able to catch this game, which is a shame but I'm looking forward to waking up after and watching the highlights. Difficult game to call.

In a funny way, I actually think I'd prefer to face a Man Utd under Solsjkaer, who at least will attack us, than one led by Mourinho, who I'm sure would have approached with his usual negative tactics away to good teams.

We've still got quite a few injuries, especially in midfield, where we'll be fielding our 4th and 5th choice cms yet again (I think they've played almost every game in the past month) with young Skipp as the only reserve. If Pogba is on his game, that will be an area of the field you'd think we won't be coming out on top. You've also had a nice break in the past week.

Vertonghen is still out and Moura is a doubt.

Should be a good game, though I don't see it as the make or break that some of your fans seem to be.

I just want United to play well. I don’t even think I’ll be too bothered if they lose as long as they play good football and have a go at them. And we don’t get pumped. I think the big pitch will suit Rashford, Lingard and our runners.

I don't mind if we lose. It's all about the manner of it. We are playing a good team away from home whilst they are in very good form. I just want us to try to go toe to toe and make a real game of it.

I want us to win and not expecting the players to go all out attacking as usual. We need to control the match and that's not only about possession. Fergie used to approach big games pragmatically.

It'll be interesting how Ole approach this game. I'm sure He'll make changes and that will show us if He's worthy of being the next manager.
