There was a mainstream media in the 1860s?
So the Trump supporters call on people mistrust the media (good idea) but for some reason still revere a presidency occupied by people who have done nothing but lie about where their loyalty lies for my entire lifetime.
America is fecked until the money is taken out of politics. You can have a woman, black, white, Latino, fish or whatever that leans either way and it will remain the same.
The media is without doubt 'fake news' but then at least acknowledge that every president has been 'fake promises' too. Everyone of them is a self serving corporate piece of dirt.
At some point we maybe have to realise that someone born well off won't have any understanding of poor people.

If the end goal was genuinely improving border security he could easily build in a request to any deal to do a study on the viability of a wall and go from there. He's not trying to negotiate in good faith at all. Pelosi is right to not give him the time of day.
