I reckon Sancho will do another season at Dortmund after this season.
Agreed, we won't apply the pressure like Barca did to get Dembele out of there after just one season, and Sancho wont act the unprofessional prick like Dembele did, so we should keep our powder dry for the summer after and go for him then, we might be able to shift Sanchez off the wage bill by then.

Honest realistic opinions on how much would it cost us to get Mbappe and what wages would we offer?. PSG paid 180m euros (£165.7m). He earns a reported £290k a week.

Martial - Rashford - Mbappe is a front 3 wet dream team.
Mbappe is the best in the world at RW in last 1-2 years. But as you say he is just a wet dreams.

I want him, Son, Dybala, Dembele or someone else from that class but its very hard to buy player from those teams.

Look at our oponents and wingers they buy in last years. Hazard, Sane, Mahrez, Son, Silva, Mane, Salah... none of them came from top clubs. They were only a talents before. There are transfers like Sancez and Pedro but we have here a difrent situation.

Its a shame we missed out on Mbappe and Dembele. If we sign Sancho maybe he can become a star for us but he is young and we can't expect to win a title with a trio of Martial Rashford Sancho. Far too inexperienced but it can develop into a great trio. Sancho is very raw. Mbappe is mature beyond his age and he plays with Neymar and Cavani. That is the type of experience needed. City have Sane-Aguero-Sterling and Mahrez for cover. Liverpools front trio are all in their prime. This is the difference between our current squad and CO92. The youth players had ready made leaders and stars to guide them and take the team forward. Who do we have? I would love to see Sancho be a star for us but he will not be that instant impact player.

We have Alexis and Lukaku to fill some expirience, but i got your point. Maybe we should try to sign someone experienced and come back for Sanco in near future.

As a experienced player I would like Robben for free. And 2020 Sancho.

Leon Bailey for me; guys an absolute baller. Personality wise I can see him getting on with Lingard, Rashford & Pogba and form a great chemistry.

Ability wise; he has pace to burn, a great long shot & bags of technical ability

if any 6 top English club gets him, it would be great news for England as they actually don't have a left-footed attacking player.

I don't get it. I thought Bailey is Jamaican. So when he said good for England I thought he meant the EPL.
I guess Bailey must have an English grandad or something

Bailey is having a problem with the Jamaican FA, I remember reading somewhere that he can play for England through his families history. If Bailly is tearing up EPL up or coming from top 6 sides, England will come in for him so hard.

At this moment I just don't give a feck, just get someone already. We are basically playing with a handicap.

No idea why everyone thinks this is a need. Mata is an adequate 6th choice for the front 3, the other 5 are all very good players. So we don't have a specialist right winger, look how fluid we are. And Lingard is a lot better than people give him credit for.

Lingard is a quality player, I'd like a different option too though.

Mata i think will go. If we get a speedy left footed winger that would be ok.

Lukaku could go as well.

Could try sanchez there as well.

Why haven't we looked at Nicolas Pepe? The guy looks terrific and his stats are pretty good. It doesn't seem like anyone is in the market for him. Lille are apparently 2nd in the table and Pepe has scored 15 goals in 22 games for them with 7 assists... He's only 23 years of age and predominately left footed and plays on the RW where we lack.

It wouldn't be fair to the PL if we signed an actual RW

You know looking at the role Lingard has had recently as like a fake 9 can’t help but think Dybala would be incredible for this role and that he can also play off the right. Of course he isn’t going to act like a winger and will more likely operate in similar fashion to Mata there but Rashford and Martial as wide forwards with Dybala central.

Anyone decent would be an upgrade.
Lingard is much better central, Mata is a sloth and Rashford can't do it. It is one of the must positions we need to strengthen in summer.

Dybala will cost a fortune.... Rather utilize that money to get De Ligt or Koulibaly.

We aren’t exactly paupers. Although 70-100mil on a CB then say 100-120 on Dybala would probably be a stretch. I’m liking the look of Militao at 48mil. Looks a good player.

Personally i think 100 million on a defender is too much. An attacker yes. I would rather we go cheaper for defenders. 50, 60, maybe 70 million.

pity we did not sign Mbappe when we signed Martial. (along with him) Granted rashford may have not got his chance.

The thought of us signing a skilful and pacey RW to play with Rashford and Martial is exciting.

Why don't we just break Greenwood in to the team next year? A left footed forward able to play as a RF.

Rashford - Greenwood
Martial (false nine)

A specialist right winger would be ideal for United, as it's been a bit of a problem for a while now.

However, adding to the forward options has to be looked at carefully, as top-loading with options would lead to pathways for Chong and Greenwood being blocked.

Personally can only see United adding a forward if the likes of Sanchez and Mata leave. One left-field suggestion which would work is David Brooks at Bournemouth IMO. He may not be a big name (yet) but he is an outstanding young footballer who is proving to be a big threat at Premier League level. As a left-footed wide player who comes in from the right hand side he would offer a decent balance to the team too. I suspect many would want a bigger name though.

The RW issue has been there since Ronaldo left us in 2009. Not sure why we have failed to bring a long term solution in this position.

Dybala could be the difference between top 4 and Winning the prem, he IS that good.
Hasn't been this season has he? To me he is good when he scores, but he hasn't made his style completely work at the highest level yet. Still a huge talent though, but I don't think he deserves that 'world class' tag hes got, yet. If Juventus would be interested in Sanchez or Lukaku we should go for him. Not really necessary to blow our budget on him if not though, we have a lot of areas to fix and would be weird to hang all our hopes on him.

Oh my:drool: Sold. Looks perfect for us, get him... now! Would give us something different than Lingard etc. Looks to me like he might be able to play striker too.

If we could somehow replace Mata (12m), Sanchez(30m) and Lukaku(65m) with something like Pepe(30m), Dybala(75m) and Sancho(55m)

Martial-Rashford-Pepe-Sancho-Dybala (Greenwood, Gomes, Chong) More balanced squad that with real options on both sides. 5 players for 3 positions isn't too much either.

Give our midfield a better option than Fellaini and McTominay and we are talking. Forgot about a CB and fullback.

Good idea but the problem is we won't get that much amount on our players and will have to pay more for these players.

Mata: Free
Sanchez: 15-22M
Lukaku: 50M

Pepe: 50M
Dybala: 100M+
Sancho: 80M
