Obertans #1 fan.
Haven't you learnt anything from the hundreds and hundreds of Jose threads?? When people hate/dislike someone, they can't resist the urge to butt into every thread and post negative stuff about them.
I was hoping because Marouane has never let the club down in any way any proper fans would be positive.

Some great videos in this thread. Keep it up.

Remember he shaved his afro and then proceeded to pull Guendozi's hair in the game :lol:

I have only been to one game at OT (EL semi) and Fellaini scored the all important goal in that so he will always be special to me

I'll really miss Fellaini. :( Too many good moments to choose one. And plenty of crazy moments too.

I wish him well in China.

Yup, can't say he gave anything other than 100% whenever on the pitch. Nice lad, good luck in China big fella.

Always felt he would score when he got into position on the back post and Young had the ball on the corner of the box on the left.

Played his part in all the post-Fergie trophies, particularly the Europa league win.

It’s unfortunate for him that he came to represent our recent lack of success. I personally will never understand the vitriol. He was nothing like Di Maria who disprespected the shirt by putting no effort in.

He was MotM in the europa league final wasn't he? I seem to remember him doing cruyff turns and crazy stuff in that match, was that a dream? Always had a 10/10 attitude and work rate and i grew to really, really like him.

Headbutting Aguero, clotheslining Zabaleta, elbowing a few Liverpool players, the highlights reel is immense.

A fair few ungrateful pricks in this thread...

If it wasn't for Fellaini and his winner against Young Boys at OT this season, we'd be looking forward to a Thursday night trip to the fecking outer reaches of the old Soviet Union in a couple of weeks!

Check for yourself mate Mata scored the winner Fellaini scored the 2nd goal it finished 2-0.
Oh okay. I meant the winner of the tie, not the game. But I guess Pogba's penalty actually won it.

A real shame the big man still gets ridiculed even now he's gone! He played a big part in two cup victories after all! I'll remember best the few games against the top six under LVG when he was basically unplayable in a kind of left forward position! Good luck

Was it Olympiakos at home? RVP scored a hat-trick and we won 3-0 after losing 2-0 in the first leg.
It was the game that came to my mind. I was at the game and had backed Van Persie first goal and 4-0 to Utd. I was quite upset we weren’t going for the fourth.

Dominating City in 2015. Saving that woman from certain death when we scored in the last minute against Hull. Stepping up big time when all our players were knackered in the Europa League.

If people think Fellaini is to blame for how shit the last few years have been, they need their heads checking. Was a fit for what we imagine this club should be? No. But he always put a shift in, and that's more than can be said for a lot of other players we've signed since Fergie left. Good luck big man.
Agreed. Can't fault his courage. Always showed up in big games and even scored the day our own fans booed him as he came onto the pitch. I wish him well

He tried his best when on field. Not very skilled, not popular, but played for the team and that's what I'll remember about him. All the best to him.

I think his best period for us was that 6 games winning run we had under Van Gaal, that got us top 4 while outplaying the likes of city liverpool and spurs.
He was pretty good for that short period.

It was still an important goal it just wasn't the winner. He scored 3 important goals in 3 semi finals on the way to winning all 3 of those cups so he can be proud of that record.

An absolute pro whose attitude could never be questioned, which is more than could be said for some others.

Was just never the right fit.

Good thread.

The winner vs Young Boys to get us to next stage of CL.

The goal in second leg vs Celta to get us to final.

The dominant performance in EL final which saved our season.

The assist to Mata by his chest in the equalizer vs Palace in Fa Cup final.

The opening goal vs Everton in Fa Cup semi final.

The second goal vs Hull in EFL cup semi final.

The winner in dying minutes vs Arsenal in the league last season.

And also this goal which is definitely his best in United's shirt :

I'd like to add the headed goal vs city in 4-2 win vs city.

It's surely the time he was getting sarcastic cheers at every touch in an exhibition summer match, only to score the winner later.
