Huge game tomorrow night. Bilbao starting to get dragged back into things again. Can't believe it but Huesca will be only 3 points off 17th if they win, that will be one of the most remarkable escapes in recent times if they pull it off.

To me bottom half La Liga is miles stronger than premier league. You have bottom club on 18 points but they've won a few games recently so should get past 20 points soon enough and 2nd bottom is now on 23 points. I would say majority of teams will reach 40 points or more this season.

In prem you have Huddersfield on 11 so they probably won't even reach 20 points by May and Fulham on 17 who spent 100m + this summer which isn't a luxury anyone outside of top 3 have in Spain.

La Liga has also played two fewer rounds than premier league.

How shit are Seville away from home? Worse than us lol! Have they collected more than 10 points?
Good question.

They won a few earlier in the season and they were high scoring games, 1-4 at Rayo, 2-6 at Levante and 1-3 at Eibar. That Eibar win was 29th September and they have not won away in the league since.

Just 4 draws and since the new year they have lost away to Bilbao, Celta and Villareal, all teams who've had long winless runs this season.

Ironically still a better away run than one of the Emery seasons when I think they won one away league win all season.

Edit: 15/16 they failed to win a single away game in the league.

Imagine what it was like to me watching United and then trying to follow this as well. Good win. Eibar at home next, win that and we will go right up the table.
If you were I imagine you were watching behind the Sofa DT those last 15 minutes! Thought Bilbao were atrocious last period of the game, could hardly keep the ball and rode their luck, Huesca unlucky with a few scrambles.

Still massive three points all the same. Only 7 points off 4th now.:wenger:

Think Bilbao do have problems closing out games sometimes. That is why they have so many draws. A win is a win and this could have been really awkward.

Huesca look to play really well, but they can't take their chances. They can still stay up though.

Not a bad point at all for Huesca, but a win would have been better. Their next 3 games are decisive to stay up now, as they are not that difficult for them.

Navas this season has always been a problem in our right flank, now he seals his performances.

I don't know why Barca look vulnerable after Messi loses the ball. Same thing happened against Valencia if I'm not mistaken.

If he scores another goal today, he'll have 35 in 35 against Sevilla

2-1 Mercado.

Suarez looks like going for his 7th game without scoring, and playing bad again. He's starting to get on my nerves

God Barca really have just become Messi. No one else looks anywhere near good enough to play for them.

Standard Barca-performance these days. If you attack them these days you will score at least a couple, defending and transitions is BAD. Nearly all players seems gassed and slow as heck. Going forward there is nothing when Messi has off-days. Insane to play Coutinho and Suarez game after game after game when they rarely doing anything but mess up or play 5 yard backpasses.

BTW how in the world is Arturo Vidal getting so much playing time? Paulinho at least could run. Vidal looks like a senior citizen out there.

In 18 days we can lose vs Real Madrid twice, get out of the UCL vs Lyon and then we'll have 2 months to congratulate Valverde for winning another league title against two teams that have been in awful league form.

I'd rather sleep until 2022 to see who we bring once Valverce is out.

I thought Barca fans were spoilt but then sometimes when I watch the shit you serve I ask myself how you're ahead of everyone! The league is just so boring this year.

We can only hope Atleti catches us in the league, with a loss today & Madrid away the difference should only be one point. Hopefully Ernie is done then.
