Young has been poor for several games in a row.

Pereira is not in midfield and neither is Pogba. They're both more or less wingers. Our midfield is mctominay on his own.

We wouldn't do this with Matic so I've no idea what the plan is. Rashford and lukaku have both been playing on the wrong side. We have injuries so we sod around with our system and players positions for no apparent reason.

I've enjoyed us under Ole but stuff like this is alarming. It's so obviously going to cause us problems

We've put Southampton under a lot of pressure and made decent chances. Southampton have been holding on at times. It's fine, we've played ok and made chances, raise our game by a gear in the 2nd half and we'll win.

As written about in other threads, I don’t think we have been playing that well recently. Chelsea was fantastic, but around that results have been good, but the peformances have resulted in tight matches that we somehow keep edging. You can’t expect to keep winning long term with the relative volume and quality of chances we are creating and conceding. No team can or does.

Hopefully we step up second half, attack well and give little away and we can still win this.

I've been saying this, too. Bar our first three games under Ole I think our general attacking and possession play has been poor. Great results and some good defensive showings, though.
