What a game! Five goals at Old Trafford and three of them screamers.

Southampton shocked us in the first-half with a fine opening goal from Valery but in the second-half we upped a gear. Two quick goals from Pereira and Lukaku turned the tide in our favour but then Ward-Prowse struck a superb free-kick 15 minutes from time to make it 2:2.

We had to pick ourselves up off the floor again and it wasn't looking like it would happen until Lukaku struck again with a curling shot from the edge of the box. The Belgian has turned hero in the last couple of games with four goals. Just when we needed it!

Another huge three points as we return to fourth place. A superb victory again considering how many injuries we'd had.

It's like watching United again...

Old days are absolutely back!!

A very thrilling and fun match at OT with goals back and forth and dying minutes drama.

Great win.

Played shite aside from the spell at the beginning of the 2nd half but we could have still scored 6. Great win though and some great goals.

Lukaku carried us through. Pereira looked a lot better in the final third than a pure central midfielder role.

3 important points, need to take it to Arsenal now.

What do you say about that, eh? We needed to get the three points today and we did it. You can gripe about the performance but not the spirit, especially with so many first XI players out.

On to the next one then...

Lukaku saved us, we were awful. Young is a liability, how much longer do we put up with our great leader?

Pogba was pretty bad in all departments. But today showed that even our best player can have a poor game and we can still win. Lukaku was incredible.

A very strange game. We only turned up for the 2nd half and then was holding on again before coming strong at the end.

Lukaku’s play outside the box was atrocious but his finishes were sublime.

Pogba was unlucky. One of those days we looked a bit lacklustre but got away with it.

That was too stressful, thank God Lukaku has remembered football again.
Must have been a good watch if you're neutral.

Just saw the highlights. Even that was fecking exciting. And a late winner too.

Now I know why I always had a soft spot for you guys. You did this more often back when that old grumpy guy was in charge.

lukaku is much better when we dont try to play through him as a solo striker. Need to move on sanchez for literally anything. Buy an actual RW and let Dalot bomb forward from RB and get that right side in beast mode to free up shaw/martial on the left.

Great win in a game where it wasn't coming off for our two top players (Rashford and Pogba). And I don't want to here about Ole and tactics again after this one. The switch to a back 3 and having Pereria play in the 10 role was perfect. He looked much more comfortable there when he didn't have to worry about his positioning on the pitch. I'd play him there more often.
