I always wanted us to get Barcelona so I’m pleased with the draw. I think we would surprise a few people thinking we’d be thumped by Barcelona.

If we have to do it, let’s do it big. Come on United!!

You just contradicted yourself? If the first game is always cautious it nullifies the away advantage thus given you a huge advantage playing the second game at home.
I meant the away team will have a cautious approach and be happy with a draw, e.g. Bayern at Anfield, which means United could very well leave OT with a clean sheet which sets them up decently for the return game.

Don't think you will, though. At the moment I'd say a draw at OT and a loss at Nou Camp but last round showed that everything is possible.

Ah well, was good while it lasted.
In a one-off game, I reckon we could potentially beat Barcelona. It would take all 11 players to have career-best performances, but we could do it.

Over 2 legs, there is no way Smalling, Lindelof, Young and Shaw stand up to the likes of Messi, Suarez and co. I could see us scraping a win at OT, 2-1 or similar, then losing comfortably at the Nou Camp.

These games will be on while Im backpacking in South America - the idea of an all-day session for the 1st leg in Brazil sounds awesome!

Fine with that. To be honest, the state we were in before Mourinho left, I didn't expect us to be IN the Champions League and FA Cup Quarter Finals.

No pressure on us. No 'Battle of Britain' guff in the press. Just enjoy it.

So to win the CL we need to most likely have gone through, PSG, Barca, Liverpool and then City/Juve.

One of the team I didn't want to see but at least these should be tense matches.

The feck? BBC sport Live updates shit. They said Barcelona v Man utd.

Wankers.
That's how it was drawn but because of the Manchester police we'll have to play at home first so that there aren't two big CL games in the city in the same week.

Exactly my thoughts. I am only pissed that Liverpool got the easiest tie on paper at least.

fecking scouse cnuts. Jammiest cnuts ever ffs
Everything is going for them this year. If it's not goalies throwing balls in their own nets, Linesman giving dodgy goals or the opposition getting multiple injuries against them, it's written in the stars for them to win something this year.

So are we playing at home 2nd? I prefer the second leg away not sure anyone else feels the same? Just you completely know where you stand with away goals that way.

I'm not sure why Tottenham is considered an easy draw. If they decide to turn up AND are healthy, they can beat any team in the competition.
