If the mods are gracious enough to do a poll on who's the better attacker between Costa and Icardi or Costa and Higuain, you'd realise that you wouldn't have much company. Don't allow Higuain's serie A goals number deceive you. Okay who do you think is the better forward between Higuain and Morata? Please be true to yourself if you could only sign one of Morata, Icardi, Higuain and Costa on a bossman, who would it be?

Higuain is better than Costa. Icardi was never really tested at the highest level like Costa. Diego Costa scored in decisive moments against spanish giants, played in the highest level of the Champions League, was champion in England. Icardi is like a more consistent version of Belloti.

It's going to be pretty difficult to compare both seeing that they have hardly ever played in the same league for long enough to judge.
Higuan was deemed surplus to requirements at Real Madrid and moved to Napoli and serie A where he has been absolutely brilliant. Costa on the other hand seems to have been up against competition a lot more. From la liga minnows Atletico to Chelsea in the epl.

I know Costa has an attitude that stinks but if it was strictly football we are judging about, Costa edges it for me. Wish we could take Costa to Serie A and move Higuain down to the epl, then we'd be able to judge better perhaps.

Just look at CFs that have been doing so well in Serie A for the past few seasons like Immobile, Icardi, Belotti and even Dzeko tearing them all a new one at Serie A but didn't quite thrive when faced with big competition at the epl with man city where he was nick named 'super sub'.

Yep.

Can’t believe Conte sent him a text telling him to do one. What was that about @duffer?
Me too. He was best striker in PL when they won it. And he decided to replace him with morata. Strangest transfer decision in last couple of years. For me at least.

Vile little shit of a player, spitting, stamping, head butting, diving, probably the most punishable faces I have come across. Good player mid you but I can’t stand the sight of the guy.

Wish Hierro listened to Costa. I could have said Koke would have missed. He was stinking up the whole game. You don't make a player who's had a shit game take a penalty.
Costa knows Koke more than Hierro.

Apart from Costa knowing this from training, Koke didn't even take a penalty for Atletico in 2016/17, when they missed 6 penalties in a row and the likes of Griezmann, Gabi, Torres, Carrasco and Thomas Partey all took and missed.

Despite being an ever present in the side and usually the designated set piece taker from wide areas, he's never taken one in a match. He missed one in the shootout against Leverkusen in 2015 and was taken off minutes before the shootout in the 2016 CL final.

I'm hoping I picked this up right, but pretty sure Fabregas made a similar point about how the Spanish NT never did much penalty preparation in tournaments. Seems like the sort of silly shite England did in the 1990s.

What's the situation with Costa? Just heard he's out through personal issues but didn't realise he hasn't played all season!!?

Apparently the only other time he was sent off in La Liga was in 2010 when he was playing for Valladolid against Espanyol. Could this be true? Seems like one of those stats that are impossible to believe.

May have said something about Ref's mother. Did look a bit surprised to get a red for it.

Ruins the game, oh well. Would be good if referees always enforced dissent properly.

Standard Costa.

Wasn't it the same at Chelsea, only actual red he got was at Everton in the cup. Was banned for 3 games after an Arsenal game but didn't get a red on the pitch.

What's hilarious about this is he normally gets through game after game acting like a proper knob and never gets sent off. Now he gets sent off for this?:lol::lol::lol:Brilliant. Couldn't have happened to a nicer fellow.

Wait, you support both us and Barca? How does that even work and who are you rooting for on Wednesday? :wenger:
Polygamy.

And let the Gods decide this Wednesday.

Apparently, Diego Costa claimed that certain players are untouchable and shouldn't be sent off. Maybe in his own little, nasty twisted world.
