Surprised Monaco loaned him out. Not long ago he was rated among the brightest midfield prospects.
I thought he was brilliant today.

Looked excellent at times today - will be very interested to watch him over the rest of the season.

Where the grass is greener.
For his debut think he looked very promising, dipped in the second half to the point I thought he’d gone off, but all things considered good performance.

I thought he and Maddison both looked good in spells today for Leicester, who had enough opportunities to get something out of the game, very wasteful. Barnes was guilty and Vardy missing the penalty, they let Spurs off a bit today.
Tielemans seems to have lost his way a bit after making his name at Anderlecht, if he does well at Leicester it will be interesting to see where he ends up.

He was shit for them apparently and with the arrival of Fabregas, i assume they loaned him out for him to impress and sell him in the summer.

Has all the talent needed in that position, but he’s just not really progressed as a player since his breakout season.

It’s a position players tend to grow into with age, so it’ll be interesting how he goes.

I think Leicester are exactly the type of team he needs to be at right now.

Monaco have been through two managers and have been dogshit all season whereas he'd get lost in the shuffle at a bigger club considering he's lost his way a bit.

Looked good today but my abiding memories are of him fouling people too.

As others said, he was very good today against a big 6 team. might be worth it to keep tabs on him during his loan spell in the PL.

I remember buying him every time I began a season with a new team on FIFA years ago. Would always develop in to a 87-90 point midfielder if I’m not mistaken.

I think he was voted worst signing of the season in France after the first half of the season or something like that anyway. It was probably more a case of he signed for a team that went in to freefall almost as soon as the season started.

Would have been a clever addition for us on loan with Fellaini going. We have shown we've got no depth in midfield at all. Fred clearly isn't rated by Ole n Phelan either.

Thought he looked a genuine world class CM in the making before his move to Monaco. Be a good signing for us.

I've watched Leicester's last few games and I think he's looked good. I remember seeing him play against us in the Europa and, after all the hype, looking extremely underwhelming. The potential is there.

He was excellent in his first game but pretty wretched against Palace. Didn't see last night's game.
There's a real quality player in there. He's two footed, got a rasping shot, good passing range...the problem must be inside his head!

The problem is under Jose everyone looked good against us, even Dendoncker and he's at Wolves playing at the right level!

It is in his head, his technical and tactical inconsistency is almost exceptional. I have rarely seen something like that.

I think he's worth a punt in all honesty. Monaco have put him in the shop window by loaning him to the PL and Jardim doesn't fancy him. We could get him relatively cheap in this market.

He's 21, of course he's inconsistent. The talent is there, not sure he'll ever make it the highest level, but I hope he gets a decent run of games at Leicester. His Monaco period wasn't good, but that whole team was atrocious.

He was bad last season too, so that's a poor excuse. And while you are correct regarding his age and the fact that he has time to put himself together, he was actively part of the atrocities.

Best player on the pitch against Spurs, haven't seen any Leicester games since then though

Did you really expect him to set the league on fire at the age of 19-20 when arriving from the (poor) Belgian league? Oh well, time will tell.
No, I expected him to not be one of the worst potential starters in the league. He needs to play with the right attitude, be focused for more than 5 minutes. I don't think that he is finished, I believe that he is only starting his career but the hype needs to stop and people need to judge him on what he does not on the dreams they have about him. The first step is to determine what he is, it will allow him to identify where he needs to improve because at the moment, he has no identity which exposes all his flaws and he really needs to work on the mental side of the game.

He will be a hot property this summer. I hope he stay with Leicester and continue develop under Rodgers. His performance under Rodgers so far has been remarkable.

Was the best player on the pitch against Spurs as well and that was pre Rodgers. I agree though another season at Leicester will be best as he continues to rebuild his career after his disaster move to Monaco

Awesome analysis of the player. He's so young still, he has the time to figure things out. Hopefully he does, because he does have that potential that makes people put expectations on him but everyone has a different growth curve; Zidane was nowhere near the player he became until his mid-20's.

Has been in good form and showed a lot of promise in Belgium. He should stay in Leicester as he can be a starter their gain EPL experience and confidence as well.

Another excellent game from the lad, still think another season at Leicester would be good for him but then you pay a huge premium

Like most signings a risk...

And he's only a loan at the moment. Should Leicester buy him he'll be expensive (£35-40m). They'd probably then look for close to double that when they do sell...

Pochettino reportedly said no to him. Quite unbelievable when you look at their current midfield options. He would be a decent signing for any top six club beside City and maybe Chelsea.

He looks like the real deal. Strong, fast, composed on the ball and has a great shot on him. Not to mention his goal was a brilliant midfield, forward-bursting run into the box a la Lampard. If he's available for £40m or so as reported then I think he'd be an excellent purchase - 21, cheap compared to the likes of Neves, Ndombele et al and room to grow.
