Worst thing is I bet you Sarri's team talk revolved around taking potshots at David and making sure they follow them in. I bet that was there no.1 goal tactic.

I wonder if behind the scenes Ole isn't calling out some of these agents angling for moves away and saying "Oh, Juventus? OK then, off you go". "Madrid want you do they? OK, off you go."

It would certainly be interesting to see how much truth there was in any of it.

So De Gea has successfully ended our CL run this year and has put us out of CL next year as well. Now he'll use this as an excuse to leave United.

Wow less home clean sheets than the relegated Huddersfield this season. That is shocking.

Was hoping he would make a couple of his excellent saves to get him some confidence

Do you think dropping him would make his confidence worse if it's a confidence issue or would removing him from the spot light help?
How he feels isnt really the clubs problem, he has probably costs us £40 million with his shit performance so he needs to be pulled.

Yeah because anyone giving him credit today is a 'die-hard' fan.
    Who exactly said that?

He is playing good first half, literally everything started after my comment about his dribbling in around tenth minute and now you are turning it into his performance.

No, he needs to go. Taibi got sold for less. He’s spent. If he signs a new 5 year £300k a week contract in the summer we’ll regret it before October
Jesus Christ, are you comparing De Gea to Taino? It takes some to be the stupidest post in this thread but congratulations.

De Gea is having a poor run of form, so what? He is our only world class player whereas the likes of smalling, jones, young, valencia have been walking disasters for YEARS.

I will never turn my back on De Gea.

Damn, all our work of that first half undone by such a terrible mistake! Can't believe what's going on with De Gea, really think he needs to be dropped, too many costly mistakes recently.

1 thing is for sure, the players are very well making their damndest to feck this top four 4 bid up. If it ain't Ashley it's David. If it aint David it's the rest of them.

Taibi didn’t have season after season of being world class, ridiculous comparison.

Dave is really costing us. Ole should have invented an excuse and sent him away for a break. Nothing wrong with that. It wouldn't' mean we're not supporting him. Now the whole team and club suffers because he's just not 100% concentrating. How can we justify that by saying he saved us the last couple of years? How does help us and him?

It’s like fecking 2001 to 2003 Barthez all over again. Put Romero in goal against Huddersfield and Cardiff.
I was always in two minds us to whether he was the Barthez/Casillas/Valdes/Bravo type keeper that goes to shit around 30 as agility and reflexes go, or the VDS/Buffon type that keeps going into the late 30s relying on other assets. Seems the former unfortunately.

Much worse. Back then a couple of goals he conceded got blown way out of proportion to make it look like he's struggling badly. Now he really is struggling.
His head is turned, much like when LVG was here and he had the balls to drop him which worked well for us and for DDG.

    Needs doing again.

Good half of football from us spoiled by De butter fingers. Can only blame Ole for not dropping him, otherwise you can’t fault the performance.

Best performance for a long time. Score line doesn't reflect it. Some players are doing great - a few not so much in terms of quality.

Feel for Dave. I know we seem to have some idiots sticking the knife into him but he's been a top keeper for so many years and it's rough to see him so low on confidence.

Well, minor that c*ck up from DDG, we've largely dealt with Chelsea comfortably.
Now its going to be a completely different game purely down to DDG.
    Cheers,Dave.

Really good start to the game, but we dropped right off after our goal. Then DDG has gifted them the goal, and really if I was Chelsea, I would feel like momentum is with them going into the second half
