Miserable feckers, my God  Love the simplistic kit design and the timestamps on the sleeves are a cool homage. Might actually buy this one.

Some close looks at the details. This is the proper replica version of next seasons home shirt;

Looks like even the replica version is getting a rubberized badge.
The whole shirt is too dark tone.
Why is the whole design making the two sponsors more standout than what it should be mainly focuses on -- the club?

how to fix it?
(1) shield should have been white or light coloured,
OR
(2) shield stay the same but make our club crest in its original bright red-orange-flame colours. Prefer this.

Overall, other than that, I like the shirt's neat simple designs and bee-hive fabric/texture/patterns.
Definitely buying it.

Unless the club are changing the nickname, the devil should be red not black. Other than that, not too bad an effort. Can’t believe they’re having black numbers on the back though. Surely they won’t be visible enough?

Looks shite. Home kit logo should always be in the normal club colours.

EDIT: At least for once the shiteness of the kit distracts from the Chevvy logo
Alas I think all the black bits have the opposite effect, and make the logo stand out even more now it’s got no other white bits to compete with :(

Edit: probably done deliberately for that reason.

Wish the badge and the front of the collar were white.

Love it. Sure, it could be improved but it's still nice. Will be buying.

I just don't like the red stripes on the arms. Makes it look like a training kit.

If that is it, then I'm not buying it. They needed to go with white logos, not fecking black. And where have the stripes disappeared too? White stripes on red is really nice but no, Adidas have to be all hipster with their designs.

I'll save you the decision anyway and say anyone who buys a shirt over the age of 20 is a wrongen

If the badge was white I'd probably buy. I can't understand why we'd do that to the home kit. I get it with the away kits though still don't like it but the home kit? Come off it.

Where the grass is greener.
Usually pretty neutral to our kits, but I think I hate it. Hate the little patches on the arms, so tacky, the badge should be in colour, and in general it looks weirdly unfinished.

Once again, any chance of us having a decent kit is ruined by Chevrolet.

Am I the only one somewhat put off by the fact that our sleeve sponsor manufactures toilets? Given the state of the club it is just a bit much for me.

Not sure what disliking ugly shirt has anything to do with being miserable but whatever

I was reacting to the people complaining about the timestamps on the sleeves that's all. Dislike the shirt all you want mate, that's always how people react to the new shirts anyway.

Why is everyone complaining again? That's a nice kit actually. Admittedly our logo is a bit disappointing but the kit itself is nice.

Because that's what they do. It's a decent kit, and the little details remembering our greatest ever night is a nice touch. Unless it's entirely plain red without sponsorship or originality they won't be happy.

Still way better then Nike. The last good Jersey they made was the 10/11. The V Jersey.
Based on what Nike has been doing for other clubs recently, yea I don’t think it would’ve been any better. But nothing adidas have done has been a stand out design.

Or it’s just a boring ugly kit in the minds of someone other than yourself.

I’m surprised at the negativity, I think it looks great. Best one we’ve had for a while just looking at those pictures and it always looks even better in person and on the players.

Day 1 pickup for me.

Looks uninspiring. And the trouble with having 99 and 2008 on the kit is that when things go south (we are in transition again. So it will be tough), incessant moaning of how the mighty have fallen becomes too easy.
Not to mention how the current players have shamed the stalwarts of 99.

I think it’s an OK kit, nothing more, nothing less.

And why am I not surprised you’re the white night for the hysterical?

Our 16/17 home kit is fire and one of my favourites in recent years, it has a clean look without being dull and unimaginative as next season's.

Black badge looks weird with some random stock looking shield template.

Looking back at the Newton Heath shirt, that had a black shield which looks much better and had the full colour badge that stands out. Wish they'd stopped reducing our club badge to one colour that is hard to see and photograph.

People are complaining about there being to much on a jersey, now people are complaint about there being too simplistic. What do you want!?
Came in here to say exactly this.

And then people will slowly grow into it once they see the players in the kits. It's always the same narrative.

Never understood how people can get so worked up over a football shirt. As long as it is a red shirt I couldn't really care less.
